Chapter 794 - Chapter 793: Advanced Technology

As they were talking, Skye walked in, standing at the door, and said:

"I think I can restore the digital signature from the encrypted broadcast."

"Even though I don't fully understand it yet, that's how she's been watching us."

"Give me an hour, and I might be able to reverse it and track her down."

With that, Skye turned and left the room.

Coulson smiled at Ward, indicating that the situation wasn't as bad as Ward had suggested. The team was still full of energy and determination.

...

Meanwhile-

Tony watched as Tsunade lost her last chip, shaking his head. With luck like that, not even a billion dollars would be enough for her to gamble away.

She was practically a glowing jackpot for the casinos, destined to become a super VIP, probably more popular than even him.

After all, no casino could resist someone so willing to lose money. Fortunately, Charles's resources were vast; otherwise, few could afford to maintain someone like Tsunade.

Although with her medical ninjutsu skills, making money wouldn't be a problem—hopefully, she wouldn't get too addicted to gambling.

Seeing that Tsunade had lost all her winnings, Charles checked the time and said:

"It's about time. Let's go grab dinner."

"If you want to gamble more, we have plenty of time tomorrow."

Charles didn't care about the money Tsunade had lost, as it had just been won earlier, and even the $2 million stake had been Tony's.

Tsunade stood up, turned to the group, and said:

"That's it for today. We'll play again next time."

"Where are we having dinner?"

Pepper Potts chimed in, "I've made a reservation at the best restaurant in Las Vegas."

"Trust me, you'll love it."

Tsunade put her arm around Charles's shoulder and laughed, "Let's go—time to eat."

Charles smiled, and the four of them left the casino, heading to the restaurant Pepper had booked.

...

Meanwhile-

An hour later-

Skye was working on her computer and successfully decrypted the broadcast signal.

"Something's not right. It's still the same signal that was monitoring our van."

She turned to Fitz and said, "Put it on the big screen."

At that moment, Ward, Coulson, Killer Bee, and May all entered the room.

Fitz moved to the control panel and mirrored the signal onto the large screen. Simmons speculated:

"Maybe the camera was damaged when she rammed us."

Skye joked, "Let's hope it wasn't just the camera that got damaged."

Soon, an image appeared on the big screen—a fogged-up piece of glass. Then, a hand wiped away the fog, revealing Amador's reflection in a mirror.

Coulson, watching the video, said, "It's a mirror. Did we record this?"

Skye clicked on the screen to start recording and replied, "We're recording now."

Coulson, still puzzled, asked, "Why are we able to see this? Where's the camera?"

On the screen, Amador looked at a small mirror on her dressing table. She then pulled out a tool, resembling a small screwdriver, and moved it toward her eye.

Everyone was shocked by what they were seeing. May then remarked, "It's her eye. Her eye is the camera."

At that moment, the screen switched to a black-and-white X-ray view, resembling the visual perspective of the Byakugan.

Fitz immediately explained, "When she closes her eyes, it switches to inverse scattering mode."

Skye glanced at Ward and joked, "You look like a robot too; can you do that?"

Killer Bee curiously commented, "It's kind of like the Byakugan, but the functionality and precision are much weaker."

Ward looked at Fitz and asked, "Who would have the technology to do this?"

Coulson also turned to Fitz, wanting an answer.

"We don't—at least not like this."

"Not this compact, and not implantable into the human body."

"This is at least ten years ahead of anything I've seen."

"Though looking at it, I might be able to replicate something."

"A micro-receiver that doesn't fry her brain, with an internal power source."

Simmons shook her head and said, "Miniaturizing all that—honestly, this is…"

"Incredible," Fitz finished.

Killer Bee asked curiously, "Aren't you supposed to have the most advanced tech on this planet?"

Fitz shook his head. "Unfortunately, even though S.H.I.E.L.D. has a lot of cutting-edge tech, we're not leading in every area."

Skye blurted out a name: "Tony Stark."

Killer Bee nodded thoughtfully, realizing that S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't as all-powerful as he had initially thought.

Coulson then spoke, "We need to bring her in."

May refuted, "We need to eliminate her. She's a weapon."

"I'll call HQ and see if we can get a task force to back us up."

Coulson looked at May and said, "Our team can handle this."

As everyone watched, May walked up to Coulson and said, "I get it. You feel responsible. Maybe you pushed her too hard back then."

"But she nearly killed three of our team."

Coulson, looking serious, replied, "If she really wanted to kill Skye and the others, they'd be dead by now."

May shot back, "We got lucky this time. Do you want to risk it again?"

Coulson responded firmly, "You said you could fight, that you'd back me up."

May nodded. "Without question. But you're putting the team at risk for this girl."

Coulson countered, "Because we protect our own."

Ward interrupted, "With all due respect, sir, she's not one of us."

Coulson said, "Me, Ward, May, and Killer Bee—that's a strong combat team."

"If we split into two groups, no matter where she attacks, she won't stand a chance."

"The team members won't be harmed."

"Even if she's been implanted with advanced tech."

At that moment, Skye spoke up, "Look at the screen."

They saw Amador writing on a piece of paper: "Can I sleep?"

Skye, puzzled, asked, "Why is she asking for permission?"

Suddenly, two words appeared on the screen: "Stand by."

Coulson, watching intently, said, "She's not just being watched—she's being controlled. We need to find her."

"We'll take turns monitoring this video. Eventually, she'll show something that'll give away her location."

May offered, "I'll take the first shift."
