She had not imagined anyone would dare mock her like this. Any man who spoke such insolent words before her would be turned to stone instantly.
Hancock's chest rose and fell, clearly furious, yet she still managed to grasp the key points within the diary: the future Pirate King, and the future greatest swordsman in the world.
If such potential truly existed, she feared she would witness it soon. Hancock's gaze drifted toward the sea, and a faint smile curved across her beautiful face.
"My lady, where are we going next?" her two sisters asked. They did not know what had upset their elder sister, but even without sharp senses, they could tell Hancock was in a foul mood.
The aura of killing intent was so strong it made them want to strike out themselves.
"We are going to Fishman Island. I want to see whether the mermaid princess, said to rival my beauty, truly compares." Hancock brushed back the hair blowing across her ear and narrowed her eyes slightly.
She wanted to see what kind of woman Evan would dare to call her equal.

Evan closed the diary and docked the boat at Shell's Town's port, a small exclamation escaping his lips. To be honest, traveling through the world of pirates still felt surreal.
His lazy nature was not suited for the harsh seas, yet nowhere was safe here. Even in the most remote corner, danger could find him.
Still, Evan was both idealistic and stubborn. No matter how one looked at it, he had already become the Vice-Captain of the future Pirate King.
"I'm just a salted fish. Why would I want a system with complicated functions? If you gave me a simple sign-in system, that would be perfect—I could lie down every day. But this isn't bad either. I write a diary daily, fool around, and gradually grow stronger." Evan inhaled deeply, savoring the salty air.
Compared to those who sweat and struggle to improve, he could grow stronger simply by writing. That alone made him a winner in life.

"What Devil Fruit is this?" Evan muttered, holding a red fruit with strange patterns. He wondered if it was new, or one already known but undocumented.

If he were like other pirates, he would already be in the New World, chasing the Pirate King's throne. With such power, he could build a formidable force.
Though not equal to the Four Emperors, he could still command a significant crew. Evan had left a deep impression on Gion.
The diary had been meant for amusement, but now Gion realized she had to take its revelations seriously.
"Luffy, Evan… It seems the sea holds no reward for you. If possible, I want to bring you into the Navy." Gion sighed. Such a powerful figure, brimming with potential, should achieve great deeds for Marine.
