"Are you planning to sell me out?" Sienna Johnson asked, her voice chillingly calm. Her cold eyes fixed on Melanie Carpenter, who looked flustered, her petty schemes written all over her face.
"Besides, why should I help you?"
She hated Melanie Carpenter as much as she hated Elliot Carpenter!
If it hadn't been for those two, Adrian Desmond wouldn't be in the intensive care unit now, hovering between life and death. Adrian had done so much for them, but what had they done for him? One used their status as an elder to pressure him, while the other used a marriage contract to coerce him... Sienna felt it was so unfair to Adrian.
"It's just a visit. It's not like you'll lose anything!" Melanie Carpenter said nonchalantly.
"It's easy for you to say," Sienna replied calmly. "Everyone knows what would happen if I went. Of course, I'd lose something. If I go, I probably won't even make it back."
