He was waiting for her to speak, but Emma Aiden kept silent.
She just kept pressing his brow, trying to smooth out the wrinkles.
Stubborn girl.
"Emma Aiden, did you take advantage of me while I was asleep?" Harrison Yale suddenly opened his eyes, his thin lips slightly parted.
His icy tone sounded like he was questioning a thief who had stolen something.
"I didn't..." Emma Aiden didn't expect him to suddenly open his eyes.
She was so startled that she backed up several steps.
Almost tripping herself.
Looking up at him in surprise, "When did you wake up?"
"Is my meal bought?" Harrison Yale bypassed her question and asked directly.
"Yes, I bought it back. I forgot to ask what you wanted, so I just bought a few things randomly. If you don't like it, I'll go buy more." Emma Aiden said as she approached and opened the takeaway box she had brought.
She placed the still-hot dishes in front of him and handed him the chopsticks.
Her obedient demeanor was like that of a maid.
