"Really not eating?" Harrison Yale's thin lips moved softly.
His slightly deepened voice always gave the impression that he had more to say, sending shivers down one's spine.
"I plan to visit Auntie at the hospital later. If you're free after work, you can come too. But it looks like you might need to eat..."
"I'm eating!" Emma Aiden reached out for the chopsticks in his hand, grabbed the rice bowl, and started eating.
She was already hungry and didn't care about any lady-like image as long as there was food.
She ate more than half a bowl before stopping.
Swallowing the rice, she looked up at Harrison Yale.
"I can't finish this by myself. Join me, or you'll be late for the hospital after work." Emma Aiden kindly reminded him.
"No worries, I'm not really that hungry." Harrison Yale spoke nonchalantly.
His eyes flickered with a mysterious gleam.
"..." Not hungry?
If he's not hungry, why did he say he was and rush her to buy food earlier?
