The doctor sat in front of the desk, carefully examining the X-ray for a while, then gradually furrowed his brow.
Philip Shaw walked in, placing his hands on the desk, bowed his head, and asked, "Is there any hope?"
A bead of cold sweat formed on the doctor's forehead. He put down the X-ray, looked up at Philip Shaw, and said, "I initially thought Miss Candi's inability to stand was due to a bone injury, but if it's true as Miss Candi just mentioned, that her hamstring was severed, then with current medical technology, I'm afraid it can't be reattached."
Philip Shaw slowly narrowed his eyes.
A chill emanated from him, "What are you talking about?"
"Miss Candi said her hamstring was severed five years ago. I just pinched it with my fingers, and there's indeed no reconnection. She has already missed the optimal treatment window; with current technology, it's impossible for her to stand again."
Philip Shaw raised his hand, grabbing the doctor's neck, pulling him up from the chair.
