Laughing at someone behind their back and just happening to be overheard by that very person makes for an awkward situation, no matter how you slice it.
Kane Forest walked up to Jane Sampson, raised his eyebrows slightly, "Am I really that useless to you?"
Jane Sampson slowly turned around, with a sly smile toward Kane Forest, "Can't you just pretend you didn't hear me belittling you? You calling me out like that, how awkward is that, right?"
Following that, Jane Sampson touched her nose tip with her hand, "Really can't just murmur about people behind their backs, no sooner murmured about, and who you're talking about shows up."
Kane Forest was also amused by Jane Sampson's words, "I can't see where you think you're being awkward."
"You're still pointing it out!" Jane Sampson's eyes widened as she covered her face and ran off with Nina Rice, their laughter trailing behind them, "Ah, this is so awkward, so awkward I'm embarrassed."
