Chapter 460 - Chapter 400 : Fusion!!

The "scorching hot rain" had stopped, and the nightfall descended. Together, they formed a peaceful scene of a rain-soaked jungle swamp.

Yet, the battle that took place in the dimness was so fierce it felt like a storm was still raging.

The "Chaos Roar" grabbed the "Black Snake" by the tail with its claws, dragging it toward the exposed bones of its abdomen, as if the "Black Snake" were a prisoner trying to escape from its insides.

Germain's "Sacred Moonlight Sword" fired a "Nen cannon," shattering the "Killing Intent Shock" coming from the "Black Snake."

The pair, one master and one servant, worked together to push the "Black Snake" into a corner.

Sss—

Taking advantage of the moment, the "Chaos Roar" hooked its claws and punctured one of the two transparent "Malice Sacs (Cysts)," causing the liquid to spill out.

It tried to repeat the action and pierce the other sac, but the "Black Snake" reacted in time.

The "Black Snake" had no choice but to empty one of its full "Malice Sacs" and activate its ability.

"Dark Warp"!

Buzz—

The "Black Snake" once again slipped free from the "Chaos Roar's" grip and teleported several hundred meters away.

However, the cost was that it could only use the power of two remaining "Malice Sacs." To use them again, it would have to wait for the "Malice Absorption" process to fill them.

Just as Germain and the "Chaos Roar" were about to chase, a red light suddenly streaked across from above, whistling as it passed. It looked quite astonishing!

Both the man and the beast stopped, curious to see what it was.

The red light shot forward, like an arrow, accurately and powerfully striking the scales of the "Black Snake."

What was even stranger was that the "Black Snake" had plenty of time to dodge, but it made no move at all, as if it was deliberately waiting for the red light arrow to strike it.

In fact, the red light didn't harm the "Black Snake" at all. Instead, it merged into its scales and flowed between them.

In the next moment, a blurry, crimson snake appeared and wrapped tightly around the "Black Snake" like vines, its two tails coiling together.

Seeing this, Germain's mind quickly raced, and he had a good guess of what was going on.

Not long after, three figures rushed over from the distance, further confirming his guess.

Ging, Bisky, and Shizuku had arrived.

They were a bit disheveled, with bloodstains all over, but judging from their "breathing", none of them had suffered serious injuries.

"We just took down the 'Red Snake' and its two henchmen," Ging, who had done most of the fighting, said. "It couldn't fully replicate your battle strength, but it was still tough. We spent some time on it."

Bisky, now in her transformed state, was the highest-ranking here. She looked down at Germain.

"After it died, it suddenly turned into a red light and flew over here. We couldn't stop it in time, so we just rushed over."

Shizuku blinked her innocent big eyes and nodded furiously, as if she hadn't been involved in beating up the "Red Snake" earlier.

The blood on the "Blinky" teeth wasn't even from the "Red Snake."

"I get it now," Germain said, pointing in the direction where the "Black Snake" and "Red Snake" were tangled. "They were originally one entity, but mainly the 'Black Snake.'"

"Once the 'Black Snake' faces a fatal threat, or if the 'Red Snake' dies, the 'Red Snake' will return to the 'Black Snake' and merge with it."

As soon as Germain's voice fell, there was a loud crash. A massive beam of light, tangled in dark black and fiery red, shot straight into the sky!

The clouds were swept away, revealing the nearly perfect crescent moon that had been hidden behind them.

A gigantic monster's shadow stood tall under the moonlight, resembling a black hole, absorbing all the little light that remained.

It was pitch-black all over, with a snake-like head so massive it looked like it might hang low, and a muscular human body that was so strong the muscles were clearly defined.

The four "malice cysts" that had originally remained on the "Black snake" were now all transferred to its right arm. They bulged grotesquely, and each one was completely filled.

However, its left arm was severed at the elbow, and attached to it was a long, wide, red bow, glowing like a searing hot branding iron.

Forked snake tongues flicked in and out of its snake-like mouth. Its golden vertical pupils were wide open, giving off an oppressive, suffocating feeling.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The "Snake-headed Giant" took a step forward, causing the ground to shake violently with each movement. The swampy mud shot up like fountains!

"Be careful," Germain simply reminded the others, then used his mental power to guide the "Chaos Roar" forward to fight the "Snake-headed Giant."

Ging, Bisky, and Shizuku weren't rookies. Even without Germain's reminder, they wouldn't panic at this sight.

Having dealt with the "Dark Continent Disasters" several times, they were experienced and resolute, no longer easily shaken.

Without deliberate commands, the familiar group rearranged their positions: Germain and Ging would act solo, while Bisky and Shizuku worked as a duo from the back.

The "Chaos Roar" stood at the very front.

It let out a roar toward the distant "Snake-headed Giant," its four claws sinking into the swamp, moving like a small mountain speeding forward toward the "Snake-headed Giant."

A quarter of the "Malice Cyst" vanished, and a unique, strange power emerged!

The "Chaos Roar's" running movement froze in that instant!

Its fur remained spread out wildly, its front claws raised, and its back claws pressed against the ground.

The "Chaos Roar's" time seemed to freeze at this moment, its entire massive body stiffened in uncontrollable rigidity.

At the same time, the "Snake-headed Giant" suddenly leaped from the ground. Its terrifying body actually hung motionless in the air, defying gravity!

The "Snake-headed Giant's" left arm raised the "Crimson Bow" aimed at the "Chaos Roar."

Its right arm released a quarter of the "Malice Cyst," transforming it into a "Turbid Black Arrow," which it placed on the crimson bowstring!

As it remained suspended and drew the bow in that instant, the light of the entire world seemed to fade, as if a person were slowly closing their eyes.

The only light left was the "Crimson Bow," the "Sacred Moonlight Sword," and the "Golden Nen."

The next moment, as if the world sighed, the darkness followed the "Turbid Black Arrow" as it shot out!

Boom—

The completely stiffened "Chaos Roar" had no ability to fight back. The "Turbid Black Arrow" struck its skull directly, and soon, its enormous beastly corpse shattered with a resounding crash!

At that moment, the mountain-like "Snake-headed Giant" dropped to the ground from the air, causing the marshland to stir up a tsunami-like surge of mud!

The light returned to the world.

The "Chaos Roar" was destroyed.

The "Turbid Black Arrow," after piercing it, didn't vanish but instead flew straight toward Germain and the others.

The four of them, with perfect coordination, scattered to dodge.

The sharp "Turbid Black Arrow" shrieked past them, sweeping up a large amount of mud and shooting off with a terrifying trajectory!
