Sophie stopped in her tracks. "You said you'd set me free!"
"But I also said I saved your life."

Sophie, struggling to control her anger, glared at him. "Last night you said I could repay you with my body!"
"Did you agree?"
He's a shameless bastard, denying what he's done!
Sophie lifted her leg, about to kick him in the groin.
Thomas Shannon nimbly dodged to the side and circled behind her, holding her slender waist from behind and resting his chin in the crook of her neck, chuckling, "Still playing the tired old tricks?"
"What does it matter if they still work?"
Thomas Shannon liked her disdainful, confident air; it was quite stimulating. "So," he said, "you want to attract my attention and keep me interested in you."
Sophie rolled her eyes. "Thomas Shannon, are you always so self-righteous?"
Letting her go, Thomas Shannon casually put on his shirt, poured a cup of water, and took a few sips.
