"I was just thinking you looked familiar. Have you been to the Presidential Mansion before?"
Sophie Sullivan squinted. "Do you know me?"
"I've seen your photo." Lillian Spencer paused before slowly adding, "A photo of you with Thomas Shannon, and my parents."
Sophie only remembered that on the night she went to the Presidential Mansion, she had indeed taken a group photo with Your Excellency Mr. President and the First Lady.
She never expected that the person she had accidentally bumped into was Mr. President's daughter!
Seeing the confusion in Sophie's eyes gradually dissipate, Lillian Spencer extended her hand. "Lillian Spencer. Nice to meet you."
"Sophie Sullivan. It's a pleasure."
Sophie reached out and shook her hand.
"I didn't expect to meet Thomas Shannon's girlfriend so soon after returning to the country."
Sophie Sullivan smiled. "I didn't expect to meet Mr. President's daughter either."
