Baro braces himself for the voices from outside the cabin as he steps out of the bedroom and approaches the door, he opens it to find Zimzo & Geron standing there with a stern look. ''That explosion just now, was that on purpose?'' Geron asks not breaking eye contact with Baro. Baro shakes his head silently, ''that was an impressive display, but if not intentional, we need you to keep your energy under wraps until we figure out how to properly control it'' Zimzo adds. Baro turns around and enters the cabin again leaving the door open.
Geron & Zimzo enter the place looking around, Geron's attention is grabbed by the shelf of rough looking books as Zimzo follows Baro to the bedroom of the cabin. ''This is where your tormentor slept, yes?'' Baro nods, ''You know she is dead and can't hurt you anymore and even if she was alive she wouldn't be able to hurt you, right?'' Baro nods again. Geron stands in the doorway and sees the unimpressive bed with the two standing next to it, ''those books she wrote, shall i bring them to Horu?'' Geron asks looking toward Baro, Baro's eyes snap wide open as he looks Geron dead in the face, inside of his blazer starting to glow red and replies ''Not a single page of her monstrous writings will leave this cabin, i will set it ablaze once im done here'' Geron not changing expressions turns around and steps outside as he starts to think to himself.
''Without sounding like i want what Geron wants, but what did she write in those books if you know?'' Zimzo asks Baro. ''I wrote them, but with her name as the credited source'' He says blazer glowing more red. ''Baro, would you not want the information in there to help a good cause instead of what she had planned for it? To have the knowledge come to use in a way to assist our coming battle once the hour arrives?'' Zimzo adds as he sees the glow starts to intensify more. ''No, this hellish house will be burned with everything in it, including the basement'' Baro says as he can barely control his words anymore. Footsteps approach from behind them sounding much lighter than Gerons as they turn around they hear ''what horrors happened here, Baro?'' as he sees Tali approach with her arms covering her stomach looking around her with a mixture of sadness and panic. The red glow inside the blazer fades as he steps out of the bedroom and into the living room.
''Nothing short of torture, wether it be small creatures, plants or myself, this place was nothing but pain to anything but her'' Baro replies as he steps outside beckoning Tali along towards the right side of the cabin. Baro swipes off a layer of dirt revealing a wooden hatch that he opens and steps away afterwards. ''I'm not going in there ever again'' he says as walks by Geron whom goes towards the hatch with Tali. ''I don't like this one bit, stay near me Tali'' Geron says as he lowers himself down the stairs into the basement Tali hesitantly follows.
Baro sits himself down next to a tree looking with worry in the direction of the basement seeing it swallow two of his newly founded friends. After a few steps Tali holds a bit of energy in her hands and intensifies its illumination as they see shelves of jars with varying tiny creatures, plantlife, and oddly colored liquids. ''This is horrid'' Geron growls under his breath. The both of them feel a cold shiver run through their being as they see a table with straps for arms and legs covered in multiple colors of fluids and wear embedded in the wood. ''You don't think she-'' Geron says as Tali's eyes start to glow blue ''She did, poor Baro'' she whimpers.
Zimzo approaches Baro still looking in the basements direction as he hears echos of her laughing while all the things done to him in there flash through his mind. ''Was this your resting place?'' Zimzo asks snapping Baro out of his trance. Baro confirms as he looks at the brittle leaf collection next to him. ''All i had was a few sacks for a bed that these leaves were in'' Zimzo remains silent as his colleagues approach from their trip into the basement. ''What did she do to you?'' Tali asks as they sit down with Baro. ''She maimed whatever she could get her hands on in order to see how far their bodies could be pushed before recovery is no longer possible'' Baro says staring at the floor while everyone remained silent exchanging looks of bewilderment. ''I had to sit there and watch if i wasnt on the table myself, write everything down that transpired, if somehow the subject failed to stay alive she would put them in jars or parts of it for future use that she didnt get to do'' the group exchange more worried looks as Zimzo breaks the silence asking ''are you afraid you will be hurt similarly again? Even around us?'' Baro looks up from the floor he was staring at seeing three faces with concern but not a hint of the malice he was so used to. ''Part of me does, though i've had minimal reasons to believe so'' he replies gently as he lowers his face to look at the same spot on the ground again.
''That type of pain is in the past my lad! you said you wanted this place to burn? set it ablaze!'' Geron enthusiastically says as he stands up reaching a hand for Baro to get up. After a moment of looking Geron in the eyes and seeing no hint of hidden intent he lays his hand in Gerons massive palm and Geron lifts him to his feet as he dusts off Baro's clothing. Tali generates a small flame on top of the pile of leaves next to where Baro was sitting as Zimzo aims his hand at the burning pile and his other hand toward the cabin and teleports the burning pile inside. The three of them look on as the flames steadily spread throughout consuming everything inside. ''Lets not forget about the basement of course, anything i should start the fire with around here?'' Tali asks looking around seeing a table stand near the cabin Zimzo teleports the table next to the hatch as Geron breaks it into pieces. ''ill do the basement'' Baro says calmly as Tali sets flame to a bundle of planks.
Baro walks slowly down the stairs as he sees the underground hallway illuminated by flame he walks by taking one last look at the shelves with a heavy heart. When he arrives at the torture table he takes a moment as her words echo through his head ''you're such a whiny shit, always crying over minor incisions, why do you care for these creatures in pain? is it because they're worth more than you?'' Baro closes his eyes as he braces himself he drops the flaming wood onto the table. The flame spreads across swiftly as he turns around the shelves start to catch flame around him slowly walking towards the stairs one last time he smiles.
As he leaves the basement with the smile still on his face he sees the cabin has collapsed the roof, still burning he goes back to the spot he was sitting earlier and once again sets himself down. The three join him and sit in silence as they watch the fire destroy everything over time. Eventually the fire dims down and the basement collapses. Geron stands up and grabs a large chunk of earth he tosses on top of where the cabin used to stand choking the fire out of air. He does the same to the basement. Baro closes his eyes in relief, few tears flowing down as the three lay a hand on his shoulder in comfort he slightly flinches from the sudden touch.
''Are you satisfied?'' Zimzo asks with a warm tone. Baro nods saying ''thank you guys, this place will never harm anyone again'' The three teachers look at eachother satisfied as Zimzo focuses his mind he finds Dorna still in the same spot with Enor & Lonah as he prepares to teleport everyone there.
