Baro, Tali, Geron & Enor set course for the double peaked mountain with a hole in the middle.
Everyone spreads out their wings, Baro notices Tali's wings and asks if she's likes bats because of her black batlike wings, she smiles and replies ''I used to be a zoo caretaker and the bats were my favorite'' she looks at Baro's wings and notices basic black feathered wings with every other feather being white on the lower half. ''any story about yours?'' she asks as all of them take off and fly towards the mountain. ''Not really, i just liked the color pattern at the time of creation'' Baro replies with a hint of regret.
''We have ways of letting you re-do your wings if you want'' Enor replies to Baro, Baro a little bit shocked asks if its really possible and how it would be done, as Enor replies ''our lovely Lonah knows how to change shapes & with allowance of subjects, change their physical representation entirely, Geron is she also attending the great recovery initiative?'' Geron flying in front replies without looking back ''she said she'd be there, i didn't see her leave though''
Baro's look on his face changes from surprise to delight, ''now i'm going to have to really settle on a combination of color & shape!''. Geron looks back at Baro's expression and sighs in relief. The four arrive at their destination as they see more of their allies fly around a concentrated point.
Dorna notices their approach and greets them in the sky, ''almost thought you weren't going to show up, we're splitting into 2 halves and make a round around the school from this distance, after that we go closer and do the same until we've roamed the entire area between here and home'' Geron flies down in the counter clockwise direction and starts going around looking at everyone ways of finding things.
''Lonah is to the left of us'' Enor says glancing in the direction, ''join me and we will find Lonah to help you with your change of wings'' Tali says as she grabs Baro by the arm and drags him along the path toward the group clearing clockwise. Enor & Dorna wave a quick goodbye and fly towards a group opposing of eachother.
Baro & Tali fly over the group they're following as Tali's eyes flash blue for a second and she happily drags Baro towards the ground as she approaches a heavy woman with a large red poofy hair standing upward with a white bow clipped to a big revealing dress going just below the knees, long black stockings and red pumps. ''Lonah!'' Tali enthusiastically says as she lands next to the now smiling woman, ''oooh! its good to see you dear! were you looking for me?'' the large lady asks while the two exchange 3 kisses on their cheeks. ''Baro here has a request for you'' she says with a headtilt towards a nervous Baro. ''Hello dear principal boy!'' Lonah says as she kisses Baro 3 times on the cheeks. Baro starts blushing immediately as he nervously says ''i-i'm looking to change the look of my wings, if thats possible madam'' Lonah's eyes widen a bit in surprise as she replies ''A real polite one, aren't you?'' Tali giggles behind Baro as he tries to gain composure, ''no problem, i only need a sample of the colors you would like and a sample of the materials you'd like them to be'' She replies laying her hand between her neck and bosom.
Baro nods as he starts thinking about a way of attaining the look he has in mind for his wings, ''have you made up your mind in advance on what you want for your new look?'' Lonah curiously asks, ''yes i have, i'd like them to be made of blue fire, in the shape of large hands'' Baro reveals, Enor lands next to them ''if blue fire is what you search for, there is a creature you have to find with lady Lonah present'' Lonah enthusiastically approaches Enor and they have 1 long kiss on the mouth. ''ooooh Enor! it has been a while since we were outside like this hasn't it?'' Lonah says with glee. ''It has! but its nice being here with everyone having a common goal'' Enor says holding the hand of his wife.
''Well thats no problem my dear, we know of monsters that have such properties and even ways of creating it ourselves through explosions, which my love Enor does like no other'' Lonah says as she grabs an empy vial out of her dress's pocket, ''if you would just leave 1 sample of energy in here without busting the vial, i can attune myself to it and mix it with the materials you provide for the look'' Baro takes the vial and with a lot of strain produces a small amount of energy in his hand, Enor looks at it with an increasingly worried face as he grabs his wife and leaps into the sky spreading his wings. ''SHOOT THAT INTO THE SKY, DO NOT QUESTION ME!'' Enor screams at the top of his voice.
A confused Baro wants to know why but notices the urgency in Enors voice and launches the an orb not larger than a palm into the air as it travels far Enor shoot out his left hand as he encapsulates the orb of energy in a barrier from a distance, he manually accelerates it further joining his right hand to his left, the barrier grows thicker, the orb shoots into the sky scattering clouds away, Enor feels the range of controlling the barrier reaching its limit and detonates the barrier causing the orb to explode along with it as the sky lights up in an orange glow with hints of blue. A shockwave shoots down and hits the land below causing nature & building to quake. Every creature in the sky gets forced to ground with commanding force.
''What foul power'' Enor says as he rolls off his wife he protected with his frame from the shockwave. Tali stares in awe after standing back up looking at Baro gazing at the explosion in terror getting up to his knees after the force. ''That could not have been me'' he says under his breath. Tali approaches Baro while trying to grab his attention but Baro does not move. ''Dear boy, that was abnormally potent'' Lonah says as she also approaches Baro, ''I knew the gods gift was unfathomable power, but this is beyond what i thought possible'' he thinks to himself.
Dorna speeds through the forest and stops at blasts place of origin, ''Enor.... what was that for?'' she asks with anger in her voice, ''It was young Baro's power that did that, the boy compressed so much energy into a small ball unknowingly i assume but very strong as you saw, i shot it as high up as i could and simply detonated it'' Enor laying on the floor arms and legs spread out as he stares at the flaming destruction high above the atmosphere. ''That was him?!?!'' Dorna says with disbelief as she approaches Baro and grabs his arm, ''How did you compress that? what were you planning to do with it if Enor didn't stop you?'' as she starts shaking him roughly he pulls away and spreads out his wings shooting off the western hill forest, ''You and your fucking temper'' Tali hisses through her teeth as she leaps spreading out her wings and follows Baro as fast as she can leaving everyone else behind.
Baro flies off towards a mountain he remember from the same angle he saw while he was captive, after some time spent looking around he notices a familiar set of trees slightly discolored from all the alchemic concoctions his most hated trapper held him. He lands with a poof and sees the place untouched from when he left it only few nights ago. He walks by the cauldron, cutting table, storage hut, and his old sleeping place, a dirty looking blanket filled with wholes and a pile of leaves in a pillow casing just as worn out. He grabs the old cloth of his former place of rest and folds it to fit inside his blazers inner pocket as he continues walking towards the nightmare log cabin he hears her words in his head ''you're only good as a guinea pig'' ''your recovery doesn't work on you because you can't be fixed, you're filth'' ''if you die tonight, i wouldn't even notice until next week'' ''walk past the white line in front of my cabin and i will torture you until your being liquifies'' Baro steps over the white line with a cold discomfort stressing him out, he opens the door to the cabin and sees the fire he saw through the window that never goes out, a closet full of books, shelves with bottled liquids he doesn't dare touch, and a wooden bed with neatly made sheets & pillows filled with what seems to be wool. Baro steps into the bedroom and looks around the room he has never set foot in before as he hears a voice outside call to him.
