Raymond, with his silver eyes which were under his sunshade, saw Candy step out from the cave with Dickson.
She glanced towards him so lazily, her brown eyes almost half-dead.
"Candy!" Jose and Julie rejoiced seeing her.
"Candy!" Rose rejoiced too, but Candy's attention was on Raymond. She moved her feet as she started walking towards him.
Fool, she is walking to her own death, boss will just strangle her, Diana scoffed inwardly.
Candy, getting close to Raymond, fell on her knees, making Raymond slowly gaze down at her.
"I'm sorry, Boss. I'm sorry for always talking back at you, I'm sorry for calling out your name which was forbidden in your clan, I… I'm… sorry," she sniffed through her tears, but it was all futile because they were already rolling down her cheeks.
"Please pardon justice with mercy," she lazily gazed up at him.
Empty apologies, her last day on Earth is today, Diana muttered silently to herself.
Raymond stared down at her for some time as he made a bubble balloon out of his bubble gum. He crouched down to her level.
Her death sentence is tickling, Diana grinned.
Candy gazed down when he crouched down to her level. Just then, she felt the tip of his finger on her jaw. He raised her head up to look at him.
Candy stared at him, tears rolling down her eyes.
"I'm sorry," she muttered out.
He touched her, Rose blinked multiple times, including Julie and Jose.
It means he's gonna strangle her. Don't underestimate Boss, Diana muttered, and Rose snapped her eyes at her.
"What do you mean?" she asked, but Diana ignored her.
"Hope you learned your lessons, little mosquito?" Raymond asked.
"Yes, Boss," she nodded so weakly.
"I don't want to go to a brothel house. I don't want to be a prostitute. Instead, give me another job here, even if it's a maid's job… I will accept it," she pleaded.
Raymond made a bubble out of his bubble gum and removed his finger from her jaw.
One second passed… two seconds… three seconds… four seconds… and he finally spoke up:
"So be it. You will be my personal maid, little mosquito."
"What? He isn't gonna kill her?" Diana couldn't believe her ears.
Julie, Jose, and Rose rejoiced inwardly for Candy.
Candy let out a weak smile on hearing his reply.
"Thank you, Boss."
And like that, darkness took over her eyes. Weakness took over her body, and she fell unconscious into Raymond's body.
Everybody gasped.
Can you imagine? He is gonna push her off! Diana said angrily.
I agree to that, Rose said, accepting the fact that Raymond was gonna push Candy off his body.
One thing about Raymond is that he hates dirt, and Candy stinks now. Not just that—how dare she fall into his body?
Dickson, Stone, and Risky rushed to carry Candy, but to the shock of everyone, Raymond scooped her into his arms and started walking away very slowly.
"Holy Molly!!!!!!!!!!"
Everyone couldn't stop gasping. Julie and Jose hugged each other because of the shock they just received—the shock of their lives.
But the person who had the most shocking moment of her life was Diana. She rubbed her eyes to be sure of what she saw, but to her dismay and disbelief, the scene kept staring into her face.
An unforgettable memory of her life had been attached to her brain.
In fact, the shock she received was electrical.
