The second ring from the alarm clock woke Candy up. She looked at the time… it was past 5 a.m. Gasps escaped her throat. Raymond told her to be in his room immediately at 5, but here she was, still in bed. Thinking about the intense kiss they shared last night made her sleep late.
She immediately flipped the duvet off her body and jumped out of bed, rushing to the bathroom. That sudden movement woke Rose up. Diana wasn't in the room. Since Candy started sharing the room with them, she didn't sleep there at night anymore.
"What the hell, Candy? Where are you going this early?" Rose asked, yawning, her sleepy eyes staring at Candy as she changed clothes fast.
"Boss's room," Candy replied, her voice faint and hurried.
"But you usually go there around eight for work. Why now? Hope you haven't done anything wrong… you've been acting strange since last night," Rose said. Candy shook her head.
