Chapter 21 - Chapter 20: The Scent of Peace

Erasa: "Hmm... Jérôme?"

Erasa was happy to finally reunite with her people after such a grueling battle.

Jérôme, visibly relieved, replied: "I was so worried about you, you can't even imagine."

Zémira, observing Erasa, said with a hint of embarrassment: "Hm... Embarrassing!"

Erasa gently placed a hand on Jérôme's back to move him slightly away.

Erasa: "I still have one small thing to do."

Jérôme, intrigued, asked: "What thing?"

Erasa opened her palm, revealing a mysterious energy, and declared: "Eradication!"

Suddenly, everyone mysteriously disappeared-except Nehemi. All the multiverses present in the Giant Dimension also vanished. The Giant Dimension was completely emptied of its multiverses and everything it contained.

Nehemi, terrified, shouted: "What have you done, Erasa? Your friends... why did you do all this only to want to kill them afterward? What do you really want, demon?"

Erasa looked at him disapprovingly, listening to his words without replying.

Nehemi insisted: "Answer me! How can you commit such a horrible act? You eradicated them without the slightest hesitation. You really are a..."

Erasa calmly interrupted: "Yes, I eradicated them from existence, but they will not disappear. They are all saved within me. I will bring them back, but in a better world."

Nehemi, incredulous, asked: "What? Then why did you leave me alive? Do you plan to get rid of me too?"

Erasa shook her head: "No... I have something to show you."

Suddenly, Erasa and Nehemi disappeared and reappeared in the real world. Adapted to this universe, their clothes and appearances changed: Erasa looked like a teenager, while Nehemi, with a more mature body and ample chest, appeared as an adult woman.

Nehemi, surprised, asked: "Where are we?"

Erasa simply replied: "In the real world."

Nehemi, confused, continued: "What? So, the world where we lived was...?"

Erasa thought for a moment, then said: "Hmm... Maybe a fictional world haha... just kidding."

Nehemi frowned: "This is all strange."

Erasa smiled slightly: "Not so much. Anyway, I plan to fully awaken you soon."

Nehemi looked at Erasa for a moment, embarrassed: "How can a being like you interact with us? You are like a god, it's not logically simple."

Erasa explained: "It's simple. The great demons are like gods. They create a physical shell that allows them to interact with lower beings without complications."

Nehemi, satisfied with the answer, said: "I see... So this body is a kind of facade. But then, what are we doing here?"

Erasa pointed to a nearby newborn: "With your powers and perception, you can easily recognize this baby, right?"

Nehemi scrutinized the child and whispered, incredulous: "I must be dreaming... Boaz?! Why is he a baby, and what is he doing in the real world?"

Erasa replied: "It was Galaad who reincarnated him here, to give him the normal life he always wished for. I thank him deeply."

Erasa clasped her hands and closed her eyes, seeming to silently pray in gratitude to Galaad.

Nehemi asked: "So, Galaad wasn't evil?"

Erasa interrupted: "I will explain everything later. For now, come, you can see Boaz whenever you want."

Erasa and Nehemi disappeared again, finding themselves in the void.

Nehemi asked: "Where are we?"

Erasa answered: "In the outer void. I plan to create a world just for us."

Erasa placed Nehemi inside an energy shield. Then, she launched a tiny energy fragment that exploded, creating countless multiverses identical to those that had disappeared from the Giant Dimension.

Erasa explained: "I am shaping this world by first integrating the laws of physics and structure, to ensure its stability and prevent it from evaporating. Then, I add mathematical concepts and duality, which will spread from the singularity between order and chaos, exactly like in our original world. And to top it off, I introduce hastou energy, which will be the fundamental energy of our universe. This way, no one else can harm us, because hastou is a more concentrated energy than mana and all others. What do you think, Nehemi?"

Nehemi felt a wave of energy bringing happiness and well-being. She exclaimed: "Wow, hastou is magnificent!"

Erasa smiled, and suddenly they appeared on a planet where her people were joyfully celebrating Erasa's victory over Galaad.

Nehemi whispered: "Do they know they were erased from existence?"

Erasa shook her head: "Not at all. For them, they don't even know they left the place where we were."

Nehemi, stunned, said: "Wow... I think I'm going crazy."

She knelt, placed her right hand on her chest, bowed her head before Erasa, and declared: "Lord Erasa, I wish to dedicate my life, no, my entire existence to serve you endlessly. Accept my request; it would be my greatest happiness."

Erasa smiled: "It's agreed. From now on, you will be like Jérôme, one of my eternal subjects. You may rise."

Nehemi stood and embraced Erasa.

Zémira, gently tugging on Erasa's clothes, said: "I hope I'm not disturbing you? Come on, Erasa, come eat what your people have prepared for you. You're going to enjoy it."

Erasa headed toward the banquet, while the great celebration continued. She felt like a goddess... but still didn't know what the future held for her.
