Unless they were starving to death, why eat people? With so little meat and even less fat, had beef become unpalatable, or was BBQ no longer fragrant? According to a Dragon's tastes, perhaps those nobles with pig-like physiques might be a better choice, but such corpulent individuals were also largely inedible and often stank.

Kidnapping princesses was even less worthwhile. Having the power to storm the Royal Capital, why not simply loot the treasury? Moreover, princesses were mainly used as tools for political marriage, bringing wealth or political benefits to monarchs. Unless a dragon was unhinged and, by stubbornly refusing to leave, *did* pose a substantial threat to the kingdom, why would anyone mobilize costly and labor-intensive dragon-slaying expeditions to save a princess?

However, looking at the scene before him, David smacked his lips, feeling like he had walked onto the wrong movie set.

Did he really look that lecherous?
