Although Gale Summer said the Civil Affairs Bureau wouldn't be back to work for another two days, Ricky Lewis couldn't wait that long, fearing that things might change. So after parting ways with Gale Summer, he didn't go straight home, but instead he made a call to Tyson Thornton.
Tyson Thornton was his immediate boss at Sincere Limited, as well as a friend, and their relationship had long since surpassed that of typical company colleagues.
The company wasn't due back to work for another two days either, so Tyson Thornton wasn't particularly busy either, having paid all his New Year visits. He was just at home, playing with his wife and two children.
After Ricky Lewis got through to him, he invited him to play golf at the golf course. Ricky Lewis is a low-key person, so indifferent to golf that Tyson Thornton agreed without a second thought when he heard the invitation to play.
