During this month, she had been living like a zombie, eating then sleeping, sleeping then eating. Yet, even so, she actually hadn't gained weight; she had surprisingly lost quite a bit.
Romney had shown an unprecedented good temperament—no matter what she did, he never got angry, no matter what she did, he never criticized her. Instead, he seemed to be tolerating her excesses.
Mid-March, a rare spell of good weather, and even rarer was the fact that Romney Queens didn't make dinner; instead, he said he wanted to take her out to eat.
"Eating at home every day, you must be tired of the meals I cook. Today, I'll take you out for a French meal."
