Clarissa wasn't as enthusiastic as Crystal, merely pulling out her textbook, sitting upright with her small frame, and waiting for the teacher to arrive and start the lesson.
"Clarissa, do you want to know something about Daniel?" Crystal Sullivan smirked slyly, releasing a bait she was sure Clarissa couldn't resist.
"Of course!"
Clarissa nodded without hesitation and asked eagerly, "Does Daniel have it hard working at your place? Is he tired? Does he eat well…?"
"Haha, Clarissa, you don't need to worry. He's so incredibly smart—how could he overwork himself? And as for food, you can rest assured; it's definitely not an issue."
Crystal hadn't known how Daniel explained his identity to Clarissa before, but now it was clear—he still hadn't revealed his true background.
But seriously, was this naive Clarissa that easy to fool?
Or was it that she'd believe anything Daniel told her?
