Clarissa wasn't as enthusiastic as Crystal, just pulled out her book, sat upright neatly, and waited for the teacher to come in and start the lesson.
"Clarissa, do you want to know something about Daniel?" Crystal's lips curled into a sly smile as she dropped the bomb, betting Clarissa wouldn't be able to resist.
"Of course!"
Without hesitation, Clarissa nodded eagerly and asked, "Daniel works at your house, right? Is he having a rough time? Does he get tired easily? Is he eating well..."
"Haha, Clarissa, you don't need to worry about him. He's so smart and capable, there's no way he'd wear himself out. As for food, that's even less of a concern."
Crystal hadn't understood before how Daniel explained his situation to Clarissa, but now it was clear—he still hadn't revealed his true identity.
But seriously, could this gullible Clarissa be any easier to fool?
Or does she simply believe everything Daniel says?
