Scarlett Glenn was taken aback and said, "What?"
The new assistant said, "The boss has come to pick you up."
Scarlett Glenn frowned, "Impossible, I told him before not to come pick me up, he shouldn't be coming at this time."
Jennie swallowed and said, "Maybe the boss wants to give you a surprise?"
Scarlett Glenn stared at her, not speaking for a while, making Jennie feel a chill throughout her body, feeling as if Scarlett could see right through her at any moment. Panic flashed in her eyes, and she unconsciously clenched the sides of her pants, bowing her head, not daring to meet Scarlett's eyes.
Scarlett Glenn said coldly, "Impossible, if my husband wanted to surprise me, he'd come straight to my bed. Why wait for you to tell me?"
What surprise Ethan Herd would give her, she wouldn't need anyone else to tell her. She knew what kind of person her husband was. If Ethan really planned to surprise her, he wouldn't send someone to inform her like this.
