Under a bright moon, Liu Xiling stepped out from the main hall. A small black bird flew towards her, landing on her jade-like hand.
She removed the note tied to the bird's leg. After reading it, she sighed. "So, what I dreaded most has finally happened."
Liu Xiling wasn't angry; her face merely showed a hint of helplessness as she continued, "Chen'er's temperament truly resembles Tianyu's. Once he sets his mind on someone, he won't easily give up. But in doing so, he's placed himself in grave danger…"
As she finished speaking, Liu Xiling waved her hand. A figure emerged from the darkness and landed behind her.
"Go summon Bei Ming and Huoya. I fear a conflict is now unavoidable."
"Yes."
The dark figure clasped their fist in a salute, then their form flickered and vanished into the shadows.
