Cedric remained ignorant about Urek's fate. Was he alive? Was he dead? He doesn't know.
And something like that won't be announced by the council. Making everyone panic isn't something they planned on doing.
But one thing's clear, though: Urek's failed breakthrough should've hurt him greatly. He won't be seen bouncing around anytime soon. Moreover, it should have consequences for his fellow councillors. Good or bad? Well, that depends on fate.
Cedric didn't dwell on this too much. What the council does is none of his concern unless it directly involves him.
His focus was on the continued development of the Rising Sun Sector Domain. Everything else was secondary.
The development within the territory was going well. Extremely well, even. Time was the only thing that was slowing them down, and there's really nothing he could do about that.
Knowing this, Cedric shifted his attention to the borders. More precisely, at the area close to where the space marines were stationed.
