Chapter 1 - Prologue

Everyone knows about the choices they face in their lives. Sometimes you might think, what if I chose differently? Would my life be better? Would it be worse? Would I be happier? Would I still be who I am? Would I still be alive? This could also be said about major events in history. Have you ever thought how much different our world would be if certain huge events didn't occur? How would our lives be affected? Would we even be here?

What if in a different space, in a different universe as a whole, something different occurred on Earth? It could be that the version of you on that earth chose something different, or even that a huge historic event didn't occur. The entire world and the lives of the people there would be different or maybe the world doesn't even change that much. There are millions of possibilities that could occur in our world, in our lives. Now the question arises. What if they did occur?

Every crossroad in life could lead to different dimensions or parallel universes.

Every little choice could result in the creation of a new universe, ranging from "Do I ask her out?" to "Do I take the bus to work?" to even "What if I choose to better myself". Even darker choices like "What if I hurt him?" or "What if I just end it all?".

Every thought, and every scenario imagined, could occur, as a parallel universe. The amount of said universes could even tend to infinity, or not exist at all! At that time you imagined yourself being successful or that time you imagined yourself in a fantasy setting could all exist, as their own parallel universes.

Every movie, every book written, even every little Webnovel story people write could exist!

Every fantasy and every delusion, every daydream and every nightmare, every visualization and even every hallucination could exist as their own universes!

All of these wonderful possibilities could exist around us, but we would never know. They could be extremely far away, or even right under our noses, but we would remain oblivious, because that is how we are. That is our nature. That is how we live and that cannot be changed. That is how it is fated. That is what must be accepted. Or must it?
