Chapter 395 - 23-

Issue #23: WILD WILD Training Camp

Beneath the flashy superhero society laid a dark underworld. Every time the Heroes of Tomorrow drove the villains back, they retreated to the safety of the shadows. Regaining their strength. Waiting for the right time to strike. And tonight was no different.

Night fell on the city, and Ghost sat on his bed, glancing between the floor and the wall. He did this most of the time, waiting for his next assignment. As his master's assassin, he wasn't like the experiments. He wasn't like a Nomu. He wasn't a dead corpse that was brought back to life. No. He never died.

Or did he?

Ghost never questioned his past. He never had to. He knew where he came from. He was nothing and was given purpose by his master. Given powers that he could have only imagined. And that's why he was loyal only to his master. So why was he questioning his past? It was because of that boy, Wade Walker. He called him father, but Ghost never had a family.

He looked down at his bare chest and saw the large scar on his chest that was off color compared to the rest of his skin. At that moment, he had a flicker vision that wasn't clear. Images and sounds overlapped each other, but he could make out a few things. All he remembered was pain. Unbearable pain as he was carried inside of what looked like a hospital room. But he wasn't in an operating room that could have done something for the massive wound on his chest. He looked to his side and saw what looked like a copy of himself.

Daniel tried reaching out toward it, but it alerted one of the people inside the room.

"Shit, he's still alive?!"

"Knock him out!"

Daniel looked up, but was knocked out.

Then the vision went to the day Ghost came into this world. The first thing he remembered seeing. Everything else before that was blank. He looked up and saw his master.

"My Ghost."

Ghost saw glimpses of a young boy. The same boy he almost killed. Crying and sobbing as he yelled at him. "DAD!"

"You are something special. You are one of only a few people that were able to take my gifts."

"Always…remember…what I…said…"

"You will be my Ghost."

"Ghost." With reflexes as quick as lightning, Ghost pulled out a gun and took aim. However, it was just Kurogiri. The living mist stood at the door and looked at the brainwashed villain. "The master wishes to speak with you," He said.

Ghost lowered his weapon and scowled at Kurogiri. "Understood," He said with a cold voice. The villain stood up as the mist transformed into a portal. This was his life. This was what he was meant for. There was nothing else—no one else in his life. And even if there were, they were irrelevant. He was an assassin. An instrument for his master to be used by his apprentice. A ghost that would bring great change. And with that in mind, he stepped through the portal.

Wade woke up, startled by another nightmare. When he realized it was just another dream, he fell back on his bed. That was the third time he's had that dear, and it doesn't ever get easier to see. It's been two weeks since the attack at the mall, and Wade's dreams were flooded with memories of seeing his father, the man he looked up to next to All Might, as the villain Ghost.

Sitting up, he looked at his phone and saw that he'd slept in for about an hour. With that, he started his usual morning exercise by lifting a dumbbell. With his and his fellow classmates' intense first semester at UA High being over, they were out for summer vacation. However, that doesn't mean that they had the luxury to just relax. Not with the training camp in the woods beginning today. And Wade wanted to be ready for it.

Wade took a deep breath as he finished his morning routine. He then walked over to his desk and pulled out the bottom drawer. Inside was a notebook and some chemical beakers, which contained chemicals, and was sealed with cork stoppers. Pulling them out and setting them on the floor, Wade opened the notebook to the page that contained the instructions he was looking for, and then started formulating more webbing for his shooters. This is something he's become rather good at.

There are times that Wade still can't believe that this is his life now. The powers of a spider and the Number-One Hero in the World are coursing through his veins. One was an accident, while the other was passed down to him. But with all the good things that have happened to him, there's also been so much bad things. As he continued concocting the webbing for his shooters, Wade thought back on those moments, knowing that his journey was only going to get harder. But he was determined to face it. If it meant becoming the Hero he wanted to be, he'll face everything the world had to throw at him.

"I will find you, dad," He vowed to himself. There were still no signs of Daniel anywhere. As his villain suggested, he disappeared like a ghost after that incident at the mall. But Wade refused to give up on his father. He had to find him. He will find him. And he will save him. "I will save you."

There was a knock at his door, and he looked up to see Inko opening it slightly. "Wade, you're going to be late for your trip," She said with a smile.

Wade blinked before looking at his clock. She was right! "Oh, shoot!" He exclaimed, and he quickly started to dress himself. Not wanting to miss what was coming.

Today was the day Wade had been waiting for. Today was the first day of the UA Summer Training Camp. As he ran through the gates of the school to join his classmates, he saw new girlfriends, Momo, Mina, and Ochaco. They were just arriving as well and waited for their shared boyfriend. Seeing him running towards them, they smiled.

"Hey there, babe!" Mina exclaimed, jumping into him with a hug as she kissed him on the lips. Wade was a little taken aback by this, but recovered and kissed her back.

"Well, aren't you happy to see me?" Wade said, putting down the pink girl.

"Well, duh. Why wouldn't a girl be happy to see her boyfriend?" Mina said with a wink.

"Hey. Don't forget about us," said Ochaco with a slight pout, as she and Momo walked over to him.

Wade smiled and walked over to his gravity-defying girlfriend. Caressing her left cheek, he also kissed her lips, which Ochaco happily returned. He then pulled back and turned to Momo, who was blushing brightly when she realized she was next. Wade was going to kiss her when Momo beat him to the punch and kissed him passionately.

"Man, this is still a little weird to think about," Wade admitted, blushing brightly. "I never would have expected to have a girlfriend. But three?"

"It's only because you're so special to us, Wade," Momo said with a sheepish smile, which made him chuckle and rub the back of his head. "We better hurry and get with everyone else."

Wade and the three girlfriends ran to join the other students of Class 1-A. Together, they stood outside of the main entrance of U.A., where there were two buses parked outside. Wade and the girls placed their luggage with the other bags and waited for their teacher to arrive. Luckily, it didn't take too long for Aizawa to show up.

"Now that you've finished up your first semester at U.A. High, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin," Aizawa began, looking at his students with his ever-so-tired eyes. "However, don't think these will be months of rest for your heroes-in-the-making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become 'Plus Ultra'!"

"Yes, sir!"

After finishing his speech, Aizawa let his students talk amongst themselves before it was ready to get on board the bus. Wade noticed that Ochaco was shaking, as she was hardly able to contain her excitement for the trip. "I'm so excited!" She exclaimed, unable to hold it in as she turned around and got very close to Wade's face. "I've been looking forward to camp all semester, Wade!"

Wade's face heated up when his girlfriend's face got so close to his own. "Y-Yeah, me too…" He said.

"Yeah! Let's hear it for camp!" Ochaco said, backing away from Wade as she started clapping and chanting. "CAMP! CAMP! CAMP!" She was soon joined by Kaminari and Mina.

Wade smiled seeing two of his girlfriends and the other students so excited to go on the trip to the training camp. However, that smile went away when a familiar and very annoying voice spoke up.

"I heard Class A is taking extra courses! Does that mean they actually failed the final exams?! That must be so embarrassing. Especially since you're supposed to be so much better than my class. Or maybe it's because the son of the villain sabotaged all your exams! All of you must be wallowing in shame!" Monoma ranted condescendingly at the rival class like a mad man. He would have gone on more if it wasn't for Kendo chopping him on the head, which knocked him out.

"Don't mind him," Kendo said, grabbing her classmate and dragging him to the bus. Wade just sweatdropped at the scene.

"Monoma sure is scary," said Reiko Yanagi, a young woman that had chin-length, pale gray hair, parted to the left, hanging down over her eye and obscuring the majority of the left side of her face. She had dark bags under her blue eyes and a small mouth with full lips. Her hands were usually held up as high as her elbows, with her hands draped down. This hand gesture and her facial appearance made her almost ghostly.

Wade turned to the other students of Class 1-B and smiled. "Hey! It's great to see you all here." He said, greeting them.

"Same here. It's been a while since we saw each other at the Sports Festival," said Setsuna with a wide grin. "I guess now we're not rivals."

"Time to get on the bus!" Kendo announced to her class, dragging Monoma's useless body up the steps of the vehicle.

"Yes, ma'am!" The class said, running towards the bus.

As he watched, Mineta was given the perfect view of the girls' skirts flapping as they ran to the door. "The girls of Class A and Class B?" Mineta pervertedly leered at the girls as he hungrily sucked on his arm. Soaking it with his drool. "It's like a buffet of bombshells."

He was then shot in the head with a ball of webbing by Wade. Mineta fell to the ground with his face covered in webs, making him thrash around as he tried to get it off. "Sorry. My hand slipped again," Wade said with a deadpan look.

"Attention, Class A, our bus is here!" Iida exclaimed, waving his arms robotically around, as is normal for him. "Everyone, line up in seating order!"

The students all fell into the bus and took their seats. Wade had to sit with Iida, but at least Momo, Ochaco, and Mina were in seats around him. Momo was behind him, sitting with Jiro, Ochaco was sitting with Tsuyu across from him, and Mina was still with Hagakure in front of the gravity girl. With everyone seated, the bus took off, with Aizawa sitting in the front, looking over the pages of a report he was given. It was a list of everyone's Quirks, along with notes on how to improve them.

"Here's the deal. We'll be on this bus for about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you stay focused," Aizawa announced to the kids as he turned to look at them.

However, the bus was bustling with the rambunctious kids playing and talking to one another loudly. Mindlessly chattering about how excited they were and how they would have so much fun. All while not paying attention to their teacher at all. Tenya was standing up, yelling at Aoyama for standing up and how it was dangerous. Wade had to tell him he was standing too.

Aizawa stared at the kids with a deadpan expression and simply sighed. "Why do I even bother? Well, I guess this is the only time they'll have to fool around."

After about an hour, the bus came to a stop and Wade climbed out of the bus with everyone else. As he walked out into the sun, he stretched his arms over his head and groaned. It felt great to loosen up his back from sitting on the bus. "Finally out of that bus." He said with a sigh.

"Move out of the way! I've gotta pee!" Mineta yelled, pushing past the webslinger and started running around to find a bathroom. However, to the little pervert's horror, and Wade's confusion, they weren't at a rest stop like a gas station. Instead, the bus had stopped at a random cliff overlooking a large and dense forest. The only thing with them and the bus was another car that was parked there.

As Mineta ran around the cliff looking for a bathroom, Wade joined the other students and looked around the area. "Where are we?" He asked.

"I know. This isn't much of a rest area." Kirishima said.

"No," Jiro said before looking around. "and where's Class B?"

Wade turned to his teacher with wide eyes. "Mr. Aizawa, what's going on?"

"You don't really think we stopped here just so we can stretch your legs, do you?" Aizawa asked not just him, but the class as a whole. The class turned to him with confused expressions as Mineta ran up to him, his hands grabbing his crotch.

"Please, sir, the toilet." He begged.

All of a sudden, the doors of the car opened, and a woman's voice from inside said, "Heya, Eraser!"

Aizawa bowed his head to the woman. "Long time no see."

At that moment, three figures stepped out of the car and stood before the class. Two of them were young women wearing identical outfits that consisted of a sleeveless, collared top decorated with three straps and a bell, a large ruffled skirt, a tail, an orange belt with pockets, a silver buckle resembling a cat paw with blue pads, large white cat gloves with retractable claws, boots with vertical stripes lined with white fur and communication devices designed to resemble cat ears.

"Your feline fantasies are here! Say, meow." Shouted the first woman as she did a pose. This was Mandalay, a beautiful woman in her early 30s with brown eyes and red hair styled into three bangs going across her face. She wore a red version of the cat hero costume, and as part of her costume, she drew on red markings beneath her eyes, which resembled cat whiskers.

"Purrfectly cute and catlike girls!" The second woman was Pixie-Bob. She was the same age as Mandalay, with blue eyes, and long blonde hair that's mostly combed back save for her bangs. She wore a light blue version of the hero costume. She had two blue dots drawn on her cheeks, and her costume also included a tinted visor.

"You can call us…THE WILD WILD PUSSYCATS!" The two women yelled as they posed together as they said their final line.

Class 1-A looked at the women in utter confusion as Aizawa explained to them why they were there. "These are the Pro Heroes you'll be working with at the summer training camp."

"Pussycats…" Wade mumbled, believing that he's heard that name before. When it hit him, he snapped his fingers. "Oh wait, I remember Inko telling me about them. They're a Hero team that specializes in mountain rescue. They came out like a decade ago–"

Before he could continue, Wade was grabbed in the face by the clawed paw of Pixie Bob, who was none too happy about the decade part of his explanation. "I think your math is way off!" She shouted, gripping his head as her claws deployed. "I'm 18 at heart!"

"O-Okay! Okay!" Wade exclaimed in a muffled voice. Off to the side, Kirishima and Kaminari cringed at Pixie Bob's immediate defensive reaction to her age.

It was honestly sad.

"Everyone, say hello to the ladies." Aizawa said as Pixie Bob let go of Wade's face.

"Hello!" Class 1-A said politely as Wade coughed.

"Yeah, hi…" Wade said as he rubbed his face. However, he noticed the third person that had come out of the car with Mandalay and Pixie Bob. However, it wasn't one of the other members of the four-person team. This person was a small boy with short spiky black hair who stands at the same height as Mineta. His style of clothing consisted of a short-sleeved collared shirt with buttons and dark shorts. He also wears a red hat with two golden spike-shaped horns on the front.

Seeing that Wade was looking at him, the young boy merely scoffed and looked away. Wade frowned but he shrugged and looked away, deciding to focus on what was going on instead.

"We own this whole stretch of land out here. Everything you see here," Mandalay said as she walked to the edge of the cliff. She then turned to the class and pointed to an area far off in the distance that was hidden by the forest. "The summer camp you're staying at is there at the base of the mountain."

Wade looked confused. "Okay, so if it's over, then why are we—Oh my God." he said with a horrified look on his face.

"What?" Ochaco asked her boyfriend. "What's wrong?"

"I think I know why we stopped here," Tsuyu said, tapping her chin with her finger. It was that comment that made everyone realize it too.

"No way. That can't be right," said Sato said.

Sero started nervously laughing and started backing away. "Um, we might want to get back on the bus quickly," he said, turning away from the clearing.

"Good idea," Kaminari said, stepping back with Koda and Mina. "Let's load up." the others nodded at this.

However, as they attempted to leave, Mandalay snickered mischievously in amusement as her tail, which was part of her costume, wagged slowly. "The current time is 9:30 in the morning. You might make it there by noon if you're fast about it."

With that, everyone's worst fears were realized. They were going to be thrown into the forest and made to fend for themselves! "Oh hell no!" Kirishima exclaimed in horror.

"Holy crap!" Mina exclaimed as she and Ochaco grabbed onto Wade's arms in fear.

"Save yourselves!" Wade yelled. Class 1-A turned and tried to run to the bus, but it was already too late. They were already in the trap, and there was no way out.

"Kitties who don't make it there at 12:30 won't get lunch!" Mandalay called out.

As they ran past Aizawa, the teacher made no attempt to stop them. "You should have guessed, students. The Train Camp…." Pixie-Bob landed in front of the bus, blocking the path of the kids from their salvation. The students gasped and freaked out as the Hero grinned at them with her claws shined in the sunlight. "...Has already begun."

Pixie-Bob placed her hands on the ground. The ground under her started to emit a blue light glow as she activated her Quirk, Earth Flow. It allowed her to freely manipulate the earth for a variety of effects. And she used it to great effect now to start the training camp.

Wade's senses went off, but he couldn't do anything when the ground began to shift into quicksand and crashed into the class like a wave of water. It pushed them off the cliff, and the students started falling towards the ground below as they yelled in fear. Luckily, Pixie-Bob softened their landing by manipulating the ground to be softer. However, it was still a hard landing.

As everyone groaned in pain from the impact, Wade sat up and glared at Mandalay, who was looking down at them from the railing. "Jesus fucking Christ, lady! Are you trying to kill us?!" He yelled up at her.

"Look alive! Since this is private land, you're free to use your Quirks as much as you want to!" She called down to the kids as they got back up from being thrown off the cliff. "You've got 3 hours to make it to the facility, but you'll have to go through…The Beast's Forest!"

"Wait, what?!" Wade yelled. "Why is it called the Beasts Forest?!"

"Good luck!" Mandalay then walked away.

Standing up with Ochaco and Tsuyu, Jiro grumbled as she brushed the dust off her skirt. "Why do we always fall for Aizawa's little tricks?"

"Well, there's no use complaining," Kirishima said, dusting off his shirt. "We better start moving.

"Yeah, let's—" Wade was cut off when he was almost knocked over by a small purple bur. Mineta had been holding it in, and now he was at the end of his ropes. So he ran into the forest to find a secluded spot to let it all out.

But before he could get down to business, he was stopped when a giant beast stood in front of him after rising from the dirt. It looked down at Mineta and roared at him.

"WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Kaminari and Sero screamed in terror as the others gasped at the sight of the beast.

Well, if there was any relief to be had, Mineta found it.

The beast roared and lifted its front claw into the area with the intent of killing Mineta. Seeing his classmate in danger, Koda rushed towards the beast and tried to use his Anivoice to calm it down. "Please calm yourself, my giant friend!" He yelled at it. "You don't wanna hurt them!"

But the monster paid no attention to him and swiped down at Mineta. At the last second, Wade shot a web-line at Mineta's back. It stuck onto his back, and the Spider-Man yanked him away before the monster crushed the ground the pervert was standing on.

"What the hell is that thing!" Wade wondered as it crawled towards the Heroes-in-Training. Koda's power should have worked on it if it was an animal.

As it came forward, Wade saw something fall off the side of the creature's head. Looking at its feet, he saw a dirt clod land on the ground and break apart. Now he knew what was going on.

Wade rushed towards the beast and fired webs at it, binding its mouth shut and its front legs to the ground. He then jumped towards it, flipping around before delivering an ax-kick to the head, completely destroying it in one hit. Without a head, the monster crumbled and fell to the ground.

Landing on its pieces, Wade crouched down and picked a few up in his hands. "It's dirt!" He announced to the others. "That's why Koda's power didn't work."

"Dirt?" Kirishima asked.

Momo thought for a moment. "It may be Pixie-Bob's Quirk. She could be controlling the earth and making that monster," She said, while being impressed by Wade's quick action. However, her expression turned to fear as a new beast formed behind Wade.

Seeing her expression, and that of the others, Wade was confused. However, he could sense the worm-like beast forming behind him. "There's something really bad behind me, isn't there?" He asked. It roared at him, making him wince.

At that time, three more of his classmates rushed in.

Back on the cliff, Pixie-Bob was watching Wade and his friends as she controlled the worm beast. This was accomplished with the use of a built-in navigation system in her goggles. Giving her a bird's eye view of the battlefield. As she played with the students, Mandalay pulled Eraser Head aside to talk to him. Mainly about the intensity of the Training Camp.

"Don't you think you've got them on a pretty crazy schedule, Eraser?" She asked the Erasure Hero.

"Yeah," He agreed bluntly, though showed no signs that he was against it. "We're hoping we get an entire second semester's worth of knowledge in them here. That's going to take an intense amount of work. But the rewards will be worth it."

As Aizawa continued to explain, Wade turned around and faced the monster as it loomed over him. "They'll get permits to use their Quirks if there's ever an emergency. And Provisional licenses that will allow them to work as Heroes. Most importantly, with all the villainous activity we've been tracking…"

Pixie-Bob gasped when she saw high-energy signatures being detected on her visor.

"...They need to be able to defend themselves."

That high-energy signature came from Wade, who activated his Battle Focus. But before he could attack, Todoroki used his ice to freeze the worm to the ground.

"Recipro…BUST!" Iida shouted as he kicked the body of the worm, destroying a large part of it.

"I'll kill you!" Bakugo shouted as he blasted the beast, breaking off its still animated head.

Ade saw his chance and jumped at the beast. "Venom Smash!" He yelled, punching through and out the other side of the monster's head. Completely destroying it as the beast collapsed into a pile of dirt. Wade landed on the side of a tree high up off the ground, looking down at the defeated beast.

"I trust that I can count on you, Pixie-Bob," Aizawa said to the blue cat-dressed as she watched the two billowing clouds of smoke from the edge of the cliff.

"Leave it to me!" She exclaimed with excitement. "Oh, wow, my fur's standing on end!"

Wade landed on the ground as his girlfriends walked over to him. "Wade, that was so cool!" Ochaco said with a big grin.

"I know, right!?" Mina exclaimed as she punched the air. "You were like bam, and took those two beasts down in seconds!"

"It really was impressive," Momo said with a smile and her arms crossed. "You were awesome."

"Thanks, girls," Wade said with a blush and a smile, much to the jealousy of Mineta, who was leaning on a tree.

"Why?" He sobbed comically. "Why does he get hot babes and I get to piss my pants?"

"You showed that thing who's boss!" Kirishima said, complimenting Bakugo.

"We're not done yet." Bakugo said, glaring into the forest.

Wade turned his head to Bakugo, only to see what he was talking about. Deeper in the forest, another monster rose out of the ground. However, this one had wings and took to the sky. It flew over the forest, and the students tried to see where it was. However, it was near impossible with the leaves and branches blocking out the sky.

"Hey come on," Kaminari said nervously as the students huddled together. "Don't you think this is a little unfair?"

"What now?" Mina asked as she, Wade, Ochaco, and Momo all had their backs facing each other. "Do we run?"

"We may not have any other option," Wade said, turning to the others. "Alright, listen up! We'll have to work together if we want to get out of these woods. If not, then we're all going to go hungry tonight."

"He's right!" Momo said with a determined expression. "We have no choice but to cut through here, using the shortest route possible."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Ochaco asked as Tsuyu, Tokoyami, Hagakure, and Koda nodded their heads.

"Alright," Iida said. "Let's go, Class A!"

"YEAH!"

First, Shoji formed eyes at the ends of his tentacles and scanned the area around them, while Jiro used her jacks to feel the vibration of the ground. "I spot three up ahead," said Shoji from a mouth at the end of one tentacle. "And two flanking each side."

"So seven total," said Jiro. She was then alarmed by what she sensed and yelled to the others. "They're coming!"

An Earth Beast in the form of a dragon came flying down towards the kids. "All right! I've got this!" Sero exclaimed and jumped towards it. Shooting his tape, he bound the wings together and pulled the creature down to the ground as he fell. Making it crash to the ground. "Sato! Kirishima!"

Sato threw a few sugar cubes into his mouth, and his power kicked in, ripping his shirt as he bulked up. Kirishima hardened his skin, and the two yelled as they charged forward, punching and smashing the monster into pieces.

Another beast came at the students, and Tokoyami unleashed Dark Shadow on it. The living shadow clawed at its face. Ojiro came in and bashed it in the face with his tail. "Aoyama! You're up!" He yelled to the flashy kid, who somehow managed to get up to the top of a tree without anyone noticing.

"Bonjour!" He said, and fired a laser beam at its back. Destroying it.

"DAMNIT!" Mineta screamed as he threw his balls at two trees another beast was walking through. When it tried to push the trees apart, it ended up getting stuck on the balls. "IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU MONSTERS, MY PANTS WOULDN'T BE WET RIGHT NOW!"

"I've got this, Mineta!" Kaminari yelled as he ran up the back of the monster and landed on its head. He placed his hands on it and charged his electricity. "1.3 Million VOLTS!"

He blasted the monster and completely fried it, but turned himself stupid in the end.

"Lovely birds of the forest! Remove this evil beast and restore peace to these woods!" Koda shouted, encouraging the birds to swarm around the beast like locusts. This gave Mina the opening she needed to throw her acid onto the ankle of the beast. Forcing it to the ground.

Mina then turned directions and ran towards Hagakure, who was running away from another monster, but this was meant to be a distraction. As the two girls passed one another, they high-fived. Mina ran between the earth beast's legs and threw another glob of acid at its leg. Melting it.

All part of Momo's plan. "Everyone! Take cover now!" She yelled. She opened fire on the monsters with her newly formed cannon, hitting them in the head.

As Mina and Momo worked together, Ochaco and Tsuyu teamed up. Ochaco used her Gravity-Quirk on one beast, allowing Tsu to wrap her tongue around it and swing it into the air. Ochaco released the beast, and it crashed to the ground.

"We've got more coming, guy!" Shoji yelled, as four more beasts appeared.

With a fierce grin, Bakugo propelled himself towards the first one. However, before he could blast it to pieces, Todoroki's ice spread across the ground towards it and covered its arm. The explosive boy growled in frustration, but finished off the monster with a blast to the face.

"You're in my way, Icy-Hot!" Bakugo yelled at him as both boys ran through the forest.

"Then pick another route," Shoto said.

"Wade, now!" Iida yelled as he and the web-slinger rushed at the remaining creatures.

"Right!" Wade shot a web-line at a tree and pulled himself into the air. Swinging from tree to tree, Wade attacked one of the monsters and completely destroyed it with a Venom Smash.

Back on the cliff, Pixie-Bob was having the time of her life. She's never had this much fun training students but these students were giving her such an adrenaline rush. But standing a few feet next to her, the boy she and Mandalay came with was not looking excited. In fact, he wasn't looking happy at all.

The young boy glared at the forest as the students fought their way to the camp. His eyes filled with nothing but disgust and anger.

"Kota, we're leaving!" Mandalay called to the young boy.

At that moment, there was another explosion, and Kota watched as Wade was launched into the air. Even though he was far away, Kota could tell Wade was smiling. Even though he was in the air and fighting for his life, Wade was smiling at the thrill of being in the air. It's one of the reasons he loved being Spider-Man.

But the smile Wade had disgusted Kota. As Wade dived back into the woods, he scoffed. "Idiots," he said, glaring at the students fighting Pixie-Bob's beasts. This was all pointless, and they were idiots for trying.

What idiot would want to be a Hero?

The sun was starting to set on the horizon. Aizawa, Mandalay, and Pixie-Bob stood in front of the building that will be the students' home during the course of the training camp. As Eraser Head and Mandalay stood off to the side, Pixie-Bob stood alone near the edge of the forest. Kota hung back near the wall, pouting.

The blonde Pussy faced the forest, looking through her headgear to monitor the kids' position. When she found them, she smiled. "The litter's almost here."

Mandalay smiled, happy to know they were able to make it. "That took a lot longer than expected," She commented.

There was a rustling coming from the treeline, before Wade Walker was the first to come out. Swinging himself into the air and landing on the ground on his feet. Though he was crouching and panting heavily. Even as he stood up all the way, his enhanced stamina was starting to exhaust itself after fighting for hours against monsters. Making it almost difficult to stand straight. He was covered in bruises and scratches, and his uniform was almost destroyed.

"Finally" He yelled up into the air. At that moment, the others arrived.

Todoroki was the first to come out after Wade, wiping his mouth as a patch of ice formed on his left cheek. Bakugo followed after him, clenching his arm in pain as he gritted his teeth. Then Iida, who was dragging one leg across the dirt. The others followed suit, and just like Wade, they all had scratches and scuff marks, and their uniforms were filthy. Panting from exhaustion dealing with Pixie-Bob's Earth Beasts. Soon, they all were out of the forest, each one showing signs of fatigue and was likely going to drop at any moment. Some of them did drop to their knees.

"Who the hell thought it was going to be three hours?!" Wade yelled at the Pussycat.

"I guess we timed it based on how long it took us. Sorry!" Mandalay said.

"You're bragging about how much better you are?" Sato whined. "Talk about a dick move!"

"I'm starving… I'm gonna die in these woods!" Kirishima groaned on the floor.

Pixie-Bob started chuckling by meowing like a cat. "I thought it would take you kids even longer! But you did much better against my dirt monsters than I thought you would. You guys were seriously great. Especially…" She pointed her claw at Wade, Todoroki, Bakugo, and Iida, who were all standing together. "...the four of you! It seems like you've had quite a bit of experience."

"More than I like to have…" Wade said with a deadpan expression.

Pixie-Bob licked her lips seductively. Out of nowhere she suddenly leaped towards the four students, arms outstretched. "I call dibs on these kittens! I'll groom them myself!"

The four boys tried dodging and blocking the lusty Pussycat as she tried giving them kisses. All while the students watch with confusion. Aizawa turned to Mandalay and pointed at Pixie-Bob. "Has she always been like this?"

"It's gotten worse lately. She's at the age to take a mate," Mandalay said with a drop of sweat rolling down her head.

As Wade blocked the older woman's kisses, Momo, Mina, and Ochaco strutted over and pulled Wade out of the group by his arms and away from Pixie-Bob's line of fire. "Back off! He's ours!" They yelled.

The blonde cat blinked at them. "Oh?"

Mandalay smirked and looked at Aizawa with a side glance. "You let one boy date three girls?"

"Does it look like I want to know what goes on in their personal lives?" Aizawa retorted.

While still having his arms in the grip of his girlfriends, Wade's eyes lit up. "Actually, speaking of age–" He was grabbed in the face by Pixie-Bob again.

"Choose your next words carefully, boy," She said in a low, threatening whisper. Even Ochaco, Mina, and Momo were wise enough to let go and back away from the potentially dangerous woman.

"I wasn't talking about you! I was talking about the kid!" Wade yelled in a muffled voice as he pointed towards Kota.

"Oh, this little guy?" Mandalay asked as she motioned to the little boy. "He's my cousin's son. He lives with us now. Don't be shy, Kota. Say hi to everyone. You're gonna be around them for the next week."

But as Wade's face was freed from Pixie-Bob's paw, he saw that Kota didn't look shy at all. In fact, he merely stared at the students in silence with a rather pissed-off expression. What the kid's problem was anyone's guess, but Wade took the initiative and walked up to the boy.

"Uh, hey. My name is Wade Walker." He said, pointing to himself. "You likely know this, but I'm from the Hero Course at U.A. It's nice to meet you." He stuck out his hand for a handshake.

He didn't get a handshake.

POW!

But a punch right in the balls.

Wade whimpered as his face turned ghostly white and held his family jewel in unbelievable pain. "...My one weakness…" He whimpered and fell onto his knees. As it turned out, while his Spider-Senses would alert him to most incoming dangers, it wouldn't save him from all of them.

(AN: Deal with it.)

"What a low blow!" Iida yelled as he rushed to his friend's side and caught him in his arms before Wade fell over. "You fiend of a child! A punch to the scrotum is unforgivable!"

Kota snarled and turned his head to give Iida the stick eye. "The last thing I want is to hang with some wannabe heroes."

"Wannabe?! How old are you, kid?"

Bakugo looked at the kid with a smile of approval. "That brat's got spunk," He said, praising Kota's boldness and ensuring to remember this moment forever.

"He's like a mini version of you…" Shoto said, getting Bakugo angry.

"What are you talking about?! You can just shut your mouth before I blast you all the way to hell!" He yelled, walking up and getting into Todoroki's face.

"Enough playing around. Get your stuff off the bus," Aizawa commanded his exhausted students. "Once your bags are in your rooms, we'll have dinner in the cafeteria. After that, you can bathe and sleep. Tomorrow your training starts in earnest. You better get a move on."

"Thank you for the food!" The class shouted before they dug into their dinner. Kirishima and Kaminari inhaled their bowls of rice as they sat across from Wade, who was sitting with Momo, Ochaco, and Mina as they ate their dinner. Both boys nearly cried as they ate.

"So, the girls' room is normal size?" Wade asked Momo.

"That's right," Momo said as she gracefully ate her pieces of beef. "We're staying in a smaller room, but it's enough to fit everyone."

"I'm kind of used to it," Ochaco said sheepishly. But then she looked at Wade curiously. "Wait, is the boy's room bigger?"

"It's definitely bigger than any room I stayed in," Wade commented,

"Really? I wanna see it! Can I come over and check it out later?" Mina asked loudly, leaning over Ochako while grinning. Wade chuckled nervously at this.

Jiro spoke up from the other side of the table. "You know, they should give the four of you a room." She said dryly. The young man and three young stiffened to attention when they became aware that people were staring at them.

"Man, it's not fair!" Kaminari whined as a tear leaked from the corner of his eye. "How come he gets a harem?"

"Oh, shut up!" Wade said, before stuffing his blushing face with food. But as he leaned back and looked around, Wade noticed someone out of the corner of his eye.

It was Kota. The young boy was just standing against the wall, pouting at always. Mandalay asked Kota if he could bring over the vegetable as she was rushing around the cafeteria with Pixie-Bob. Trying to feed the exhausted kids. Kota grumbled and picked up the box of veggies next to him, scowling.

Wade frowned at the kid before turning his attention back to his food. After what he did, he'd rather stay away from him too.

But there was nothing a little hot bath to relax the body, and Wade sighed as he sat down in the hot spring. "That's better," he said. After the class was done eating, they proceeded to the hot springs for their bath. The guys were on the same page as him, happy to soak their bodies in the steamy water.

However, not all the boys were in the water.

"The food and stuff are fine, but to be honest, I'm hungry for something else," Mineta said with a towel covering everything below his waist. He looked up at a large wall as if it were his next big challenge. And that might be the case for Mineta, as it was the only thing that separated the boys' and girls' bath. "Just one little wall. A few pieces of wood. And heaven's waiting on the other side. A bath full of boobs and babes, ready to be seen by yours truly."

"Mineta, what the fuck are you doing?" Wade asked from the bath, before his ears picked up the sounds that were going on on the other side.

"This feels amazing!" said Mina's voice, which made Wade blush.

"So happy there's a hot spring here," Ochaco said, making Wade blush brighter.

"I agree. I really needed a bath," Momo said with a moan, and now Wade's face was completely red. In his mind, he could just imagine his girlfriends bathing together. Their wet hair framing their faces, water drops trickling down to the nape of their necks. Their perfectly shaped thighs, long legs, big breasts, their entire bodies shining in the water.

As his teenage hormones caused his brain to conjure up all kinds of images in his, Wade quickly covered his boner and yelled at Mineta. "Will you get away from the wall, you idiot!" He yelled, not wanting to get out of the water.

"Don't be a hog, Wade," Mineta said in a calm voice as he hugged the water. "You've taken the sexy half of the class. The ones with the most rockin bodies. And now they and the other girls are just behind this wall. What fools they were not to stagger the bathing times… bless their foolishness."

Now all the boys were sitting in the water, trying to hide their boners. "Don't tell me he's gonna…" Kaminari stuttered.

Iida shot up to his feet and started yelling at the pervert. "YOU'RE TO STOP THIS AT ONCE, MINETA!" He then started marching towards him to stop the small boy. "What you're doing is demeaning. For both the girls and yourself. It's shameful behavior!"

"Mineta, I swear to God, if you do what I think you're going to do, I'm gonna make sure no one will find your body!" Wade said as the pervert drooled uncontrollably.

Mineta turned to the boys with a disturbingly peaceful smile. "I know why I have my Quirk," he said, reaching up on his head and plucking a ball from his head. "It's because walls…ARE MEANT TO BE CLIMBED!" To the shock of everyone, Mineta jumped onto the wall and started using his balls to climb up it at alarming speeds. "I'm coming for you, ladies! PLUS ULTRA!"

"Oh shit!" Wade yelled and stood up. He rushed out of the bath and went after the pervert. However, the webslinger didn't have to. Once Mineta reached the top, Kota popped out of the top of the border. Glaring at Mineta's drooling, crying face as he stopped in his tracks.

"Before you become a Hero, you should learn how to be a good human," He said, slapping Mineta's hand away, causing the grape-headed boy to fall off the wall.

"I'll get you for this!" Mineta shouted as he fell back down.

Landing ass-first into Tenya's face as the two splashed into the water.

Kota huffed as he glared down at the boys. Behind him, Tsuyu said, "Mineta really is the worst, isn't he?"

"Thanks so much, Kota, babe!" Mina yelled up to him, giving him thumbs up. Kota turned around with his scowling expression…and saw all of Class 1-A's girls in all their naked glory. "We owe you one!"

The boy instantly flushed red, taken aback by the sight of the girls. However, due to the shock and embarrassment, he lost his balance. Everyone gasped as Kota tricked and fell off the top of the wall. He fell towards the fall and would have been seriously hurt or died if it weren't for one student,

"I've got you!" Wade yelled as he jumped up and caught Kota. Pulling the boy to his chest, Wade landed on the wall and stuck to it. Leaping off the wall, he slashed back into the water, and Wade looked at Kota as the others gathered around.

"Wade, what happened?!" Momo called out from the other side. "Is Kota okay?"

Wade sighed in relief. "Yeah!" He called out to her. "He's good. He's just out cold."

"I'm not okay…." Mineta said, floating in the water.

"Shut up, no one cares about you." Wade stood up and started walking out of the pool. "I've got to get him to Mandalay. I'll be right back." He said. He was about to leave, but stopped to point at Mineta. "Oh, and someone turn this fucker's head into grape juice for me."

"The rush from the fall likely caused him to faint," Mandalay told Wade as she placed a wet towel on Kota's forehead. She smiled sadly at her cousin as he slept peacefully. After Wade quickly put on his pants, he rushed down to the building manager's office and told Mandalay what happened. She was worried, but was relieved when seeing that it was nothing to worry about. All Kota needed to do was lay down.

"I'm just glad he's okay," Wade said, arms crossed. "What the hell was that kid doing on that wall?"

"Eraser warned me one of you boys was a little girl crazy, so I stationed him up there to keep watch. I suppose that's the danger of teaching kids your age. Especially with girls developing into women, huh?"

"Uh…" Wade thought of his girlfriends and scratched the back of his ear. "Yeah…"

Mandalay giggled at Wade's embarrassment. "I'm impressed you were able to catch him so quickly. I know you and Kota got off on the wrong foot, but I'm thankful to you for saving him."

"You don't need to thank me-" Wade said with a kind smile. He then looked down at Kota and frowned. Even though the pain of having his balls punched, Wade remembered the words the boy said to Iida.

"The last thing I want is to hang with some wannabe heroes."

Wade frowned when he replayed those words. "I still don't understand how he could hate Heroes," Wade said, sitting down on a chair next to him as he stared at Kota. "Even before my powers took form, me and so many other kids of his age dreamt of being Heroes. Growing up in the slums, I've heard many different views of heroes. Some good, and some bad. I just can't imagine a kid thinking like those old farts."

Mandalay leaned back in her chair and sighed. "It's as you said, Walker. Many people, even outside the lower levels of society are against Heroes as well." She said, looking sadly down at her cousin. "If he had a normal childhood, maybe he would've admired Heroes like you did growing up."

Wade raised an eyebrow. "So what happened?"

At that moment, Pixie-Bob walked into the office. "It was Mandalay's cousin," She said, bringing with her a tray with cups of tea on it. However, unlike before, she too was saddened. No longer the happy person she was when Wade met her. "Kota's parents, that is. They were Heroes, just like us…"

She paused and swallowed the lump in her throat.

"...but they were murdered."

Wade's eyes widened as he gasped in shock. He turned to Mandalay. She somberly nodded, confirming what her partner said. "It was a villain. Two years back. Kota was still so small," She said, remembering that horrible day when she got the news. Remembering finding Kota standing alone in the hospital room. His parents' bodies and faces were covered. He was sobbing, and all she could do was hug him. "They were killed while protecting citizens, the most honorable way for a Hero to die. But to Kota, they died for nothing. How do you even begin to explain to a child what he's too young to understand? They were his entire world. Everything. But in Kota's eyes, his parents left him behind. And all the while, they were being praised, because their sacrifice was a noble one. Honestly, he doesn't seem to like us that much either. We're Heroes, like they were. I'm sure he feels like he's stuck here because he has nowhere else to go. Heroes just don't make any sense to Kota. After all, if his parents hadn't been heroes, they'd still be here."

Wiping away the building tears, Mandalay closed her eyes and smiled wearily at Wade. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to dampen your mood at camp," She said. "I don't expect you to understand what he went through…"

"...I wish I didn't." Mandalay opened her eyes in confusion, only to see Wade looking down with a somber expression. His eyes carried with them a look of loss. Wade then stood up and walked out of the office. Confusing and concerning the two women.

As he walked down the hall while looking at the ground, his mind began to flashback to his talk with Shigaraki. "They feel so safe because that garbage Pro is smiling thoughtlessly, too, as if there's no one in the whole world he can't save," His voice said, as Wade's mind played over Daniel's "death" and seeing him as the Ghost.

Processing Mandalay's story, Wade began to think about why he was trying to be a Hero. He's heard so many different people talking about Heroes over the last few months. More so than he had back home. He's listened to so many different viewpoints. It would be easy to just ignore people that don't share his point of view, but he couldn't. It would be irresponsible to just shrug them off. People are different because they go through so many different experiences than him, but that didn't make any of them wrong.

Everyone got up when the sun appeared over the horizon the next morning. Still waking up, they dressed in their gym clothes and walked outside to meet Aizawa. Many of them yawned their hair uncombed, having only had time to eat a small breakfast before going outside.

"Good morning, class. Today we begin training that will increase your strength. Our goal is to increase your skills exponentially so that each of you earns a provisional license. This will allow you to face the dangers that continue to fester in the darkness. Proceed carefully," Aizawa explained to the kids in front of him. "Look alive, Bakugo." He then pulled out a familiar-looking softball and tossed it to Bakugo, who caught it. "I want you to try throwing that for me."

Bakugo looked at the ball and saw it was from the Fitness Exam they took on their first day. "Yeah, sure. This is just like in the fitness exam," He said.

"That's right. When you first started school, your record was 705.2 meters. Let's see if you've improved."

"Oh, I get it!" Mina exclaimed. "We're checking our progress."

"A lot's happened to us in the last three months," Sero said as he and the others watched Bakugo getting ready to throw the ball. "Maybe he can throw it a whole mile now!"

"C'mon, get it, Bakugo!" Kirishima cheered for his friend.

Bakugo grinned as he got ready to throw the ball. To show everyone just how much better he was and that he was only getting stronger. Doing a windup, he brought his arm back and then yelled, "GO TO HELL!" Bakugo used his own strength and the power of his Explosion-Quirk to send the ball falling across the sky and over the forest.

Wade deadpanned. "He's still not gotten better with his catchphrases."

The ball continued to go for a long distance before descending into the trees. Bakugo had his eyes closed, waiting for Aizawa to tell him his score. More than confident that his score was much higher than it was last semester.

"That was 709.6 meters," Aizawa told him, much to the shock of Bakugo. For proof, Aizawa held up his phone to show the distance the ball traveled.

"That's it? Kind of disappointing," Sero said.

Bakugo was dumbfounded, unable to believe how little he's improved over the months. And it made him angry.

"You all have been through a single semester at U.A., and you have definitely improved due to your various experiences. But those improvements have mostly been limited to mental prowess and technical skills. With a slight increase in stamina thrown in along the way. Your Quirks really haven't grown that much stronger. Not on a fundamental level. That's why we're going to work on improving your powers. This will be so hard, you'll feel like you're dying. So please, do try and survive."

And so it was. When Class 1-B arrived later, they bore witness to the literal hell that U.A. was putting their rival class through. Each student was to perform their own training exercise that pushed their Quicks to their absolute brink. Just like how muscle fibers break and regrow to be stronger when pushed to their limit, their goal was to make their powers stronger after every workout. Meaning that they'll have to break themselves to achieve their goal.

Bakugo pulled his hands out of boiling water, set off a massive explosion in the air, and then dunked his hands back into the water. By doing this, he'll expand his sweat glands to create chain explosions to increase the scale of his attacks.

Todoroki was panting and sweating as he sat in a bathtub of boiling water with massive flames raging around him. However, he slammed his hand on the side of the tub, causing the fire to disappear as his ice took its pace. Then he burned the ice away with fire and repeated. His training was to alternate between his two Quirks to regulate the temperature of the water. His body gets accustomed to the cold, and he works on controlling his flames. Someday he might be able to use both at the same time.

Up on a hill, Sero was screaming in pain as he shot out a seemingly infinite amount of tape. Doing this will increase his capacity and improve the tape's tensile strength and shooting speed.

Kirishima and Ojiro were fighting one another with their Quirks. Every time the latter hits the redhead's Hardened skin with his tail, both of their Quirks steadily improve. With Kirishima learning to keep up his power when assaulted.

Kaminari screamed in agony as his electricity was blasting everywhere on top of a small mountain. This was because he was running his lightning through a high-capacity battery to learn how to handle larger amounts of electricity.

Koda yelled out loud in the forest to increase the range of his Anivoice, by doing vocal exercises to build up that range. It's also good for helping him become less shy.

Aoyama blasted beams of his Navel Laser into the sky to build up his body. Increasing the range and letting him use it even when his stomach starts to cramp up.

Tokoyami was yelling as he tried to control of Dark Shadow inside a dark cave. This was because the beast was much more aggressive when there was little to no sunlight.

Trying to keep herself from puking, Ochaco was floating inside of a plastic bubble as it rolled down the hill. This was down to get her inner ear canals used to zero gravity in an effort to reduce nausea. All while increasing how much weight she can lift.

As a speedster, Iida's training was simple: long-distance running.

To work out all the muscles in her body, Tsuyu climbed up the face of a mountain. Using her hands, feet, and tongue.

Sato and Momo were both at a table that was crammed packed with sweets and desserts, stuffing their faces with the delicious foods. Sato was pumping a dumbbell to increase his Quirk's capabilities when powered up as he was eating. As she ate, Momo made Russian dolls as fast as she could from her arm to amp up her Creation Quirk and shorten the time needed for her to use it.

Over at a boulder, Jiro was with Mina. The punk rocker was jamming her headphone jacks into the face of a giant rock to amplify the quality of her audio. The pink girl on the other hand was constantly creating acid to increase her skin's durability.

Mineta was popping off his balls from his head and putting them into a pile. This will increase the strength of his scalp and keep his head from bleeding even when he's popping off balls.

Shoji and Hagakure were paired together for a game of cat and mouse. Shoji was quickly creating multiple Dupli-Arms to look for the invisible girl, who was working on her stealth by trying to stand undetected.

Class 1-B stared at the other class in shock. "This is pretty intense…" Said Hiryu Rin.

"Operative types will be raising your limits, maxing out your power. The rest of you will mostly be focusing on strengthening body parts related to your Quirks," Vlad King said, as Hiryu felt his soul leave his body. "Now normally, these changes happen gradually as you grow."

"But we don't have time for that," Aizawa said, walking up to the class. "Your class has a lot of work to do."

"Once we team up with Class A, there'll be 40 students here," Kendo said to Reiko. "That's a whole lot of Quirks of our homeroom teachers."

"Which is why we called them," Aizawa said.

"That's correct!" Said a new Heroine as she popped up in front of Eraser Head. "Four kittens in one litter!"

"Your feline fantasies are here! Say, meow." Mandalay said, doing her pose from the cliff.

"Allow us to lend a helping paw!" Posed the new Heroine that showed up, Ragdoll. She was a young woman of medium height with long, emerald green hair and big round yellow eyes that are almost always open all the way, with three small eyelashes located toward the top of each eye. As a part of her costume, she drew pink marks on her cheeks that resembled whiskers and a pink circle around her right eye.

"We're champions serving up justice. With our tails!" Flexed the only male member of the team, Tiger. He was a tall, muscular man with short brown hair and a small triangle-shaped beard. He had blank white eyes with black markings surrounding them. Tiger wears a brown version of the Pussycats' hero costume.

"Purrfectly cute and catlike girls!" Pixie-Bob exclaimed, doing her pose.

"We're the….WILD WILD PUSSYCATS! Full version!" They shouted, doing their team pose.

"I'm Ragdoll, and my Quirk is Search!" Ragdoll said, holding her pose as she leaned to the right. "I can look at up to 10 people and know everything about them. Like their location and weakness."

"Mine is Earthflow," Pixie-Bob said. "I can create the ideal training ground for every student." She demonstrated this by lifting the ground under Ochaco's bubble and launching her into the air.

"And my Quirk is called Telepath," said Mandalay. "I can give advice to multiple people at once."

"The name's Tiger," said the male hero, whose power is Pliabody, which allowed the user to stretch and flatten their own body at will, granting them inhuman flexibility. "And I'm here to beat you guys to a pulp."

"I have questions about him," said one of the Class B students.

"All of you kids with strength Quirks, time for Tiger's boot camp!" Tiger told the kids. "Class A's already sweating, so catch up quick!" He pointed over to Wade.

The young hero was standing with his hands on his knees and his eyes blindfolded. He was panting and sweating from exhaustion while standing next to a high-capacity battery. For his Spider-Quirk, the teachers want him to boost his strength, stamina, bio-electricity, and most of all his senses. He'll enter into his Battle Focus state and charge himself with electricity from the battery. Holding it in, he'll try and see how much electricity he can keep while fighting blindfolded. Relying on only his spider senses. The battery was fully charged with Kaminari's electricity, with the lightning user using an empty battery. Once he fills that and Wade drains his battery, they'll switch them.

Sucking in a deep breath, Wade grabbed onto the battery and pulled the electricity into his body, causing his chest to glow orange, with the outlines of his heart and lungs being barely visible. At the same time, he activated Battle Focus, raising his percentage to 10% after learning he could take it at I-Island.

"That's it! Now let's go!" Tiger yelled as he jumped towards Wade. Wade sensed this and jumped out of the way of Tiger's punch. However, Tiger then stretched his arm out and sent it towards the young man.

Again, Wade sensed the fist coming at him and leaped up into the air to avoid it. Landing on a tree branch before jumping towards Tiger. He was about to kick him when Tiger slid under Wade and punched him in the back. Wade yelled in pain as he was sent up into the air before falling to the ground. Wade's sense alarmed him to danger, and he braced himself. The Pro-Hero punched him again, sending Wade flying into a tree.

Wade groaned as the electricity in his dispersed in a blast, rocking the trees around him, while he fell down to the ground.

"If you don't push yourself, you won't shred your muscle fibers, and then you won't get stronger," Tiger said, walking over to Wade.

"Yeah…yes, sir," Wade said, pulling up the blindfold and standing up, holding his side.

"I can't hear you!"

"Yes, sir!"

Tiger leaned into his face with a menacing aura around his body. "You wanna be Plus Ultra, don't you? Then show me what that means!"

Wade yelled and grabbed onto the battery and started to change himself. He was determined to get better. All Might told him that he was overflowing with One-for-All's energy and that training would hold it all inside of him. Gran Torino was the one that showed him how to use the power without destroying his body. He's come a long way in such a short amount of time. It was up to him to move forward and make this power his own.

Letting go of the battery and putting the blindfold back over his eyes, Wade turned back to Tiger. "You want me to be Plus Ultra?" He exclaimed, activating Battle Focus. "Then let's go Plus Ultra!"

Tiger smirked at him and laughed. "That's more like it!" He said, before the two of them started fighting again. Everyone from Class 1-B looked at Wade with pity.

But at the same time, Kota was nearby, looking at the students' training. More specially, he watched Wade as he fought against Tiger.

The students continued their intense training for the rest of the day. When the sun started to go down, and their training came to an end for the day, they were exhausted. They were barely able to make it to the building. And it was in the picnic area that they found Pixie-Bob and Ragdoll in front of a large table that was filled with ingredients and food to cook. "Now, remember what I said? We're not serving your food anymore!" Pixie-Bob said, presenting the table to the kids.

"If you guys wanna eat, you'll have to make your own meals!" Ragdoll said, waving her hand up and down. "Starting with curry!"

"Yes, ma'am…" the students groaned with their heads down and their bodies completely white. They were absolutely exhausted, with some of them ready to collapse. Seeing them like that made Ragdoll laugh at them.

"Oh, man, do you guys look exhausted," She exclaimed, pointing at them. "But that doesn't mean you can coast by making sloppy cat food!"

Wade grumbled as he glared at her with tired eyes. "Is it me, or are they enjoying this?" He groaned, covered in bruises from his constant fighting with Tiger.

However, Iida perked up at that moment. "No wait," He said before placing his hand on his chin and thought for a moment. "An important part of saving someone recovering from a disaster is providing for their physical and spiritual needs. Ah! This is a great opportunity! Let's make the most delicious curry in the world, everyone!"

"Yeah, okay," Everyone said, groaning. Aizawa silently thanked his Class Rep.

For the next few minutes, both classes prepared their meals. Cutting up the vegetables and chopping up the meats into bite-size pieces before throwing everything into the pops and setting them onto a roll of fire pits that were side by side. Then they gathered logs and kindling to make the fires.

"Hey, Todoroki!" Mina called over to the duel Quirk user after he started a fire in one of the fire pits. "Can we get some fire over here too?"

"Hang on," Wade said, walking over and crouching down. "Let me try." He reached out his hand, charged a small amount of electricity into his fingers, and then snapped them. Creating a spark of electricity that started a fire in the pit.

"Nice thinking, Wade," Shoji said as Mina and Ochaco kissed Wade on the cheeks, making him blush and smile.

Seeing how Wade was able to make a fire with his power, Sero turned to Bakugo. "Hey, Bakugo. Use an explosion to light that," he said.

"This is so beneath me!" Bakugo growled, but did it anyway. However, the explosion was too powerful, and it destroyed the curry, the grid grate it was on, and nearly the entire fire pit.

"Rely on others, and you'll never learn how to start a fire. We should focus on acquiring new skills," Momo said, creating a firestarter in her hand. Jiro looked at her with an 'are you serious?' expression when seeing her make the object.

Soon, they finished the curry. Sitting together in a way that likely made Monoma sick to his stomach, both classes started eating together and scarfed down their food.

"If I got this at a restaurant, I'd send this crap back. But after today, I'll eat every bite," Kirishima exclaimed as he gobbled up every bite.

"Don't say that," said Sero, eating alongside him.

"After all, you cooked this, man," Wade said, scarfing down the curry.

"Yes," Momo said, before using a napkin to wipe Wade's mouth, which had curry sauce all over it. "But that doesn't mean we get to be messy eaters."

"Yeah, but you're scarfing too, Momo!" Mina said teasingly, looking up from her plate with a smile.

"That's true," Momo said, blushing a little before closing her eyes and trying to look more proper. "My Quirk transforms lipids into brand new atoms to create inorganic materials."

Ochaco thought about what that meant. "Oh, I get it. So the more you eat, the more things you can make," she said.

"That's right." Momo nodded.

"Like how poop works," Sero commented casually as he ate his food.

The table went silent as Momo was seen bent over on the ground, bending her head in her arms in embarrassment.

"APOLOGIZE!" Wade and Jiro punched their classmate.

"OKAY! I'M SORRY!"

The students laughed and talked to one another. Even after the brutality of their training, they were still in high spirits. Which is more than what could be said for one person. Standing a few meters away from the picnic area, Kota glared at the 40 students with disgust. Scoffing, he walked off.

"Kota! It's time for dinner!" Mandalay called out to the boy. "Where are you?"

Wade perked up and looked around. He caught a glimpse of Kota slinking away into the forest. His face was covered by a shadow. Wade frowned and stood up. Grabbing another plate, he poured a serving of curry on it. This got the attention of some of the others. "Hey, where are you going?" Sato asked.

"Bringing some food to the little punk." Wade said.

"You know he's gonna punch you again," Ochaco warned.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure it's not in the balls this time," Wade said as he started walking off, but not before stopping and smirking at his girlfriends. "Besides, I still want to use them in the future."

Momo, Ochaco, and Mina were left with blushes on their faces when they realized what he meant. "Damn," Jiro commented with a smirk as she ate another spoonful.

Wade followed Kota as he walked up to a cliff that had a cave. Kota sat down on the edge and stared up at the sky. However, as he sat there, his stomach started to growl. He was hungry, but he ignored it. He refused to be anywhere near those pointless Heroes in training.

"You really should eat, you know?" Kota whirled his head around to see Wade walking towards him with the plate of curry in his hands. As the boy snarled at him, Wade frowned a little. "Here's some curry."

"No way! How'd you find this place?" Kota exclaimed, shocked by Wade's sudden appearance.

"I followed you here. I figured your aunt would want you to eat something," Wade said, stopping a few feet away from him.

"Whatever. I'm just fine. Get lost. I don't wanna hang out with you. So forget about my secret hideout." Kota snapped at him.

Wade raised an eyebrow and looked around. "Doesn't really look like much. You could always try and decorate it." He suggested.

"Hmph. Spending your entire life trying to improve your Quirk. It's dumb! All you want to do is show off," Kota said, gritting his teeth.

"That's not true," Wade insisted. "We're trying to be Heroes so we can save lives."

"And what's that going to get you? Get lost!"

Wade frowned at the kid, but looked down. He had to pick his next words carefully if he wanted to get through to the kid. "You parents, they were the Water Hose Heroes, weren't they?" He asked, getting a gasp from Kota. "With the Water Quirks."

"How do you know that?! Did Mandalay tell?" Kota yelled.

Wade pulled out his phone with one hand and showed it to Kota. Showing an article about the incident that got Kota's parents killed. "I just looked it up. It happened not too long ago, so I remember it vaguely. When I saw that one of them was related to your cousin, I knew it was them. I'm so sorry about what happened."

Kota looked away and dropped his head in anger. "Go away. Everyone here's so crazy. Calling people stupid names like 'hero' and 'villain' and then killing each other because of it. Always focusing on their Quirks. If they hadn't been showing off, they'd still be here. Idiots."

Wade looked at Kota sadly. Now he was starting to understand. Kota didn't just hate Heroes. He hated Quirks and the superhuman society they were built around. It reminded him of the Hero Killer, but this boy hated it because of what happened to his parents.

"We're done here. Go back to camp with the other losers!" Kota shouted.

"I know what you're going through."

Kota looked at Wade in confusion. "What?"

"I know what it's like to lose a parent. And to lose them to a villain," Wade said, setting the curry down on the ground. He then walked over to the edge of the cliff and sat on it. Looking up at the stars. "My dad was…the best man I ever knew. He was born Quirkless, yet he fought people with Quirks to support me. I always wanted to be a Hero, but my Quirk didn't come until much later in my life. But even still, dad always supported my passion. He always told me that with great power, there comes great responsibility. I always thought he meant Quirks, but as I grew older, I realized that it's not. It's everything we do. Any power we have to do something, we have to carry the responsibility of using it for good."

Wade looked at Kota. "Just like the Heroes. They know they have great powers, and it's their responsibility to use them to save people, whatever the cost. Your parents knew this," He said. "Just like it's your power to either accept or reject Quirks. You can reject them all you want, but all it'll do is make the responsibility you have harder."

"Will you just leave me alone?!" Kota screamed at Wade.

Wade stared at the kid before standing with a sigh, realizing that he needed a moment to cope. "Alright. If that's what you want. Just know that I know what you're going through…but you're not responsible for their deaths. Some of us can't say the same."

With that, Wade turned and walked back to the campsite. Leaving Kota alone to wallow in his misery and hate. "Shut up. All of you. Just stop it," He whispered.

However, behind Kota, on the other side of the cave's, there was a crater in the face of the mountain. With the cracks of it dripping with water.

Hours later, when all the students went to bed, there was someone watching the campsite. It was Ghost. His master was pleased with his progress and made the visions go away by wiping his memories of his encounter with Wade. Ghost was now ready for Shigaraki's next plan and was sent back to him.

"I see you're already here," Said a voice behind him. Ghost turned around and saw four people walking towards him.

The one that spoke up was Dabi. No last name. He was a fairly tall, pale young man in his early twenties with a slim, somewhat lanky build and black hair. His most striking features were undoubtedly the patches of gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin that cover much of his lower face and neck, all the way down past his collarbone, below his eyes, around his torso, and on his arms and legs. These appeared to be attached to the rest of his skin by multiple crude surgical staples or hoop piercings. He had several silver cartilage piercings in both ears and a triple nostril piercing on the right side of his nose. Upon closer inspection, he also seemed to be lacking earlobes on both sides of his ears. He wore a dark blue jacket with a high, ripped collar, matching pants that cut off above his ankles, and a pair of dark dress shoes on his feet. He also had a plain pale gray, scoop-neck shirt, below which a gray belt with a circular pattern wrapped around his waist, a leather satchel attached at the back.

"I don't like thin. It's so not cute!" Wined the second person as she put on a piped black mask that was decorated with pieces of pale metal in the shape of a carnivorous grin.

This was Himiko Toga, a rather pretty, rather unsettling girl with a relatively petite and fair-skinned girl. She had slightly inward-tilting bright yellow eyes with thin slits, somewhat resembling those of a cat, and her wide mouth was also rather feline, as both her upper and lower canines were more pointed and longer than the rest of her teeth, giving her a vampire-like appearance. Her hair was a pale, dirty ash-blonde and was styled into two messy buns, with numerous wild strands sticking out at all angles from their centers and where they're fastened, a straight fringe and two chin-length side bangs to frame her face. Her outfit was the same as a Japanese school girl, consisting of a plain seifuku with a Kansai collar. The skirt and shirt were both dark blue with a double white trim, and were paired with a red scarf that she tied loosely below. Over this, she wore an oversized beige cardigan with a rather long hem and cuffs, and pockets on either side, the right one shown to hold a number of trinkets on either a keychain or a cellphone strap. She sported knee-length black socks and dark brown dress shoes with thick heels, the same as the outdoor uniform shoes. Strapped to her thigh was a box of knives and a blue utility belt around her waist with more little green boxes attached to it on either side. The most noticeable feature was the loose black mask she wore around her neck, which was decorated with pieces of pale metal in the shape of a carnivorous grin. Three large silver canisters are attached to the sides of her mask, with needles poking out of their tips and wires on their bases, which connect them to the two larger cylinders strapped to the back of her belt.

"They were engineered for the black market, from what I hear," said the third person. Mustard was called that because of his green gas mask that completely covered his face, which was attached to two oxygen tanks that he carried on his back. He was a skinny young man who wore a black gakuran school uniform, teal gloves, and white shoes.

The fourth person walked up to Ghost and leaned over him in a threatening manner. "So how is it that you're here first?" He asked, his mast hiding his grin. Muscular was his name, and his appearance hid why he was called that. He was a large, bulky man with an outfit that consisted of a black, hooded cloak and a white hockey mask with multiple holes.

"Why are you late?" Ghost asked back, not threatened by the larger man. He turned to Dabi. "Is this everyone?"

"Hi, darlings! Sorry to keep you waiting," said another person approaching from behind them with two more people.

This was Kenji Hikiishi, also known as Magne. She was a woman with quite a wide, muscular build, her hair smooth, shoulder-length, and reddish magenta color, and her rather square jaw covered thinly with facial hair. Her lips were notably big, just slightly more pink-tinted in color, and she always wore triangular, white-framed sunglasses, obscuring her eyes. Along with these, she also wore a dark orange shirt, left unbuttoned to reveal a white v-neck she had on underneath, and blue jeans secured with a belt, plain dark brown espadrilles on her feet. She was carrying a large object on her back, wrapped in a cloth.

"Get to work. Get to work." Chanted an unnerving-looking villain named Moonfish. He was a fairly tall man with fair skin. Most of his physical body couldn't be seen because the suit he wore encompassed his entire body. It was a black straitjacket that only left his mouth exposed. The suit was held together by black restraints decorated with red spikes. These same restraints connected to metal clamps that cover Moonfish's head and kept his lips open, causing him to drool. Other straps went across Moonfish's torso, waist, and the top of his boots.

The last person to show up was Shuichi Iguchi, also known as Spinner. He was a young man with a reptile-like appearance, with bright green scales for skin and a face shaped like that of a lizard. His hair was relatively long, swept backward, and is a desaturated pink-purple, standing out from the rest of his colors. The oddest thing about him however was his clothes. Clearly, the man admired the Hero Killer: Stain, and dressed like him. He wore a sleeveless shirt, dark, baggy pants, black shoes, and pale, metallic knee guards. He wore a mask made of a long, tattered strip of cloth, the same as the one worn by Stain, a red scarf and bandages wrapped around both his arms, partially covered by black wristbands and plain black boots. He wore goggles on his forehead and carried an enormous sword on his back.

Ghost looked at the villains that had assembled for the plan. "There are only seven of you," he said. "Where are the other three?"

"I don't care. Just let me loose," Muscular said, cracking his fingers. "I'm too pumped up to stand by."

"Quiet. We'll wait until the others come," Ghost said, before turning back to the campsite.

Last semester, the League of Villains made themselves known to the world when they attacked the students of Class 1-A at the USJ. But they made a mistake by having the attack be done by an army of thugs with no honor or loyalty. All they cared about was destroying things, killing kids, and ending All Might. But time's change. They were going to use a smaller group of villains that were more powerful and experienced at villainy.

First, they must take away their sense of peace and show them that their lives were in the villains' hands. The words that All for One taught Shigaraki rang true for these new villains. If they were to combat against the Heroes, they must have fear, surprise, and intimidation on their side. If any one element were lacking, then it would be for them to retreat. They had to break these kids before they engaged them. Only then will they ensure victory.

The darkness had come for the Heroes of Tomorrow once again.
