Chapter Eight
Feeling like the crab might attack her, Sofia Hamilton felt utterly uneasy.
Every time Ryan Gregory took a step closer to her, she instinctively backed away in fear.
"Don't come any closer."
Seeing how scared she was, he couldn't help but laugh, "It won't attack you."
"I don't believe you."
That thing, once it grabs hold of someone, it won't let go of its claws.
Just the thought of it made her too scared to go near…
Ryan attempted to move closer to her, but she kept dodging and backing away.
"How about I let it go? Alright?"
"Fine."
She nodded. She didn't notice how quickly he turned around and threw the crab back into the sea.
His movements were so fast that she wasn't even sure whether he really threw it or not.
Sofia felt skeptical, "Did you let it go?"
"Look, there's nothing in my hands."
He spread his hands, and sure enough, they were empty.
Only then did she believe him and cautiously stepped closer. "You really let it go?"
