"You're feeling down. Let's take a walk to clear your mind. It's not like we're in a rush to go back anyway."

She was still a little worried. There wasn't a soul in sight—not even a single car passing by—besides them in this place.
More importantly, Old Li was waiting for them far away.
If something happened, she wouldn't even be able to call for help.
"No buts!" He interrupted her. "Trust me. Nothing will happen; I promise."
Seeing him about to lift his hand to swear on it, Sofia Hamilton's mood relaxed slightly. A faint smile blossomed at the corners of her lips, and she pulled his hand down. "Why do you have to make it sound so serious?"
"It's just to put your mind at ease."
Ryan Gregory smiled and once again held her hand tightly, intertwining their fingers together. "It's rare for it to be just the two of us. We need to cherish this moment."
At home, he always wanted to get closer to her, but he'd worry Charlie might barge in at any moment…
