Her mere mention of "friend" inevitably created a distance between them.
Kevin Gregory certainly picked up on that.
However, he was still quite content.
As long as he could interact with her like before, it was his greatest wish.
At least it proved that he might have a chance in the future.
Kevin Gregory curled his lips into a smile and joked, "Is this how you treat your friends? I came in and you didn't even offer me a glass of water. I got injured saving you, after all."
"It's just water. I'll get it for you now."
Aurelia smiled and quickly turned around to pour him some water.
After handing him the water, she hurried to get the first aid kit, "I only have some medication for minor wounds here. Maybe you should go to the hospital?"
"No need to exaggerate. Just applying a little ointment is fine."
He smiled, then unceremoniously sat on her sofa, "You can just help me with it."
In fact, he wanted to stay here and enjoy being taken care of by her.
