The one who was injured was clearly him.
Yet, the first thing he did was ask about her condition, his face full of concern.
In that moment, Aurelia was moved. She shook her head, "I'm fine, but you—your face is all injured."
"These little injuries are nothing."
Kevin Gregory curled his lips, indicating he was alright.
Just then, the drunken man on the ground turned over, as if trying to get up.
Seeing this, Aurelia hurriedly grabbed Kevin Gregory's hand, "Quick, let's go."
She pulled him along, quickly walking back to her residence. Not until the door was closed and locked did Aurelia finally breathe a sigh of relief.
It was the first time Kevin Gregory had come to her new place since she moved.
Though small, it had everything she needed.
Nevertheless, he still felt that she was aggrieved.
She should live somewhere better, at least in a place that is absolutely safe.
No need to worry about bad people showing up or any danger occurring.
