Chapter 4
She wanted to push him away, but had no strength at all. Instead of pushing him away, she was bent down and hoisted onto his shoulder.
"Ah!!"
Aurelia screamed, flailing her hands against his back and trying to kick him, but it was all in vain.
"Kevin Gregory!"
"Put me down."
"Bastard, put me down."
She struggled for a long time before he finally put her down, only to stuff her into the car.
Kevin got into the car, locked the door, and commanded, "Drive."
Aurelia couldn't break free, so she could only sit sulkily by the car door.
She leaned against the door, looking at the bustling neon outside the window, her face full of desolation.
Her head was still spinning, making it impossible to think about too many problems.
Kevin loosened his tie and asked, "Where do you live? I'll take you home."
"I don't want to go back. Just drop me by the roadside. I have nowhere to go anyway."
She said bitterly, then laughed at herself.
