Facing Aurelia Wood, he was nothing but a complete failure.
Kevin Gregory sat there reluctantly, waiting until his business partner left before he also prepared to leave.
He stood up, only to see her still sitting there, one hand propping up her cheek, her elegant brows furrowed as if she were in deep pain.
He frowned—could she really feel pain?
After all she's gotten everything she wanted, shouldn't she be happy and content?
Ultimately, Kevin couldn't hold back and walked over in a few strides, swiftly snatching away the wine glass from her hand, "Stop drinking."
Aurelia frowned, turned her head to look, and upon realizing it was him, frowned even more deeply, mumbling, "What are you doing here? I don't need you to care about me. Didn't you say you didn't want to deal with me anymore?"
