The entire hot pot restaurant quieted down; only Fiona Sutton's cursing could be heard.
"Yes, I did it. If you dare, pack those things up and return them to me!"
Fiona Sutton smugly yelled, her words blatantly arrogant.
Having spoken her mind and satisfied herself, she hung up the phone, leaving Hendry Hampton to stew in his annoyance.
"Wow, your temper has really grown since we last met."
Nia Mitchell was thoroughly impressed. Fiona Sutton's personality was very similar to Mellisa Moreland's—they both absolutely detested evil.
"That's right."
Fiona triumphantly sat down, picking up her chopsticks to fish some food from the hot pot.
After a few bites, she looked up at Nia Mitchell, her expression playful.
"Nia, do you know why Hendry Hampton called?"
Nia Mitchell was taken aback. Could it be that Fiona Sutton knew?
"Do you remember what Hendry Hampton treasures the most?"
Fiona smiled slyly, raising an eyebrow at Nia.
"His car."
