Nia Mitchell seemed deaf to the world, remaining seated without a twitch.
Butler Frederick Goldsmith sighed, not knowing the reason behind their argument.
He had witnessed Young Master Peary's transformation firsthand. He had never seen him dote on a woman like this before. But looking at Nia Mitchell in her current state, he couldn't bring himself to blame her.
"Young Mistress, how about a glass of milk before bed?"
Frederick Goldsmith came over and gently helped Nia Mitchell up.
Nia Mitchell slowly lifted her head to look at Frederick Goldsmith, her lips moved, but in the end, she didn't say a single word.
She didn't drink the milk, but mechanically returned to bed. She obediently nestled in, covered herself with the blanket, and closed her eyes.
"SIGH..."
Frederick Goldsmith sighed. Looking around the tidy room, he could only turn off the light for her and then head downstairs.
