"You personally pushed her towards Hendry Hampton, and now you stand by and watch her marry Maxwell Peary! You deserve this!"

Charles Northwood sighed and gently smoothed her disheveled hair.

"Yes, I deserve this. But if Maxwell Peary is her destined partner, we should bless her, shouldn't we?"
