Annie Davidson hung up the phone. Ignoring Maxwell Peary, she directly took Owen Lewis's hand.
"Let's go. Where should we eat?"
Owen Lewis looked at how fierce she was, and the corner of his mouth twitched. That's the big boss, he thought. She dared to refute him so recklessly, and even refused. Why do I feel like my future is in jeopardy?
Owen Lewis reached out and pointed at her phone. "Is that really okay?"
"What's wrong with that? That madman Peary—I've wanted to ignore him for a long time." Annie Davidson waved her hand casually, not caring about Maxwell Peary in the slightest.
"Let's go eat. Oh, right! Let's go to that Dining Hall I mentioned last time—the one that supposedly only allows couples."
