Nia Mitchell wiped her tears, pouting as she stood before Maxwell Peary.
"Alright."
Maxwell Peary frowned slightly and reached out to dry her tears. "I won't leave," he said in a profoundly serious tone, almost like swearing an oath.
"COUGH!"
Nia's father stood awkwardly to the side, feeling like an outsider. He had finally had enough of their lovey-dovey behavior. This man isn't Hendry Hampton, is he? He remembered that online post saying he was Young Master Peary and seemed wealthy. Why did this man come at this point instead of Nia's husband?
