"What's the matter?" She released him, puzzled. "Can't I hug you too?"
The man chuckled. "I'm cold. Wait until I'm warm before you hug me."
He had been strolling outdoors for quite a while, so his skin had lost much of its warmth. Although he wasn't bothered by the cold himself, he worried she might get chilled.
Vera swiveled and immediately moved closer, wrapping her arms around him once again.
"No! I want to hug you now!" His skin felt a bit cold, giving her goosebumps, yet she held him tightly. Unafraid of the cold, she pressed her warm body against his. "I'll warm you up."
