"No way!" She pouted her cherry lips. "If you won't drink, I'll drink it myself!"
She brought the glass to her own lips and gulped down all the remaining wine. There was a bit too much, and since her alcohol tolerance was low, she could only swallow it little by little, her cheeks puffing up adorably.
Watching her, Kris Cooper couldn't help but chuckle softly, leaning in close to her lips.
"Share some with me."
She snorted through her nose and turned her face away.
He didn't say anything more, but leaned over to the side of her cheek, raised his hand to hold her chin, gently wiped the wine from her lips, and then smoothly captured her mouth in a kiss.
She was no match for him at all, and soon melted weakly into his arms under his kiss.
When she finally felt his hand slip under her dress, she came back to her senses just a little.
"The door... the door isn't closed."
"No one will come in."
