"Really?" Nathan Leafcastle walked excitedly towards Liliana Davis, "Mom... Have you come to terms with it?"
Liliana Davis's eyes flashed with a hint of amusement, but her tone remained calm, "No matter what, he's still your father. All these years, I shouldn't have stopped you."
Nathan Leafcastle reached out and hugged her shoulders, "Thank you, Mom!"
The bond between father and son, the blood connection, can't possibly be severed.
In recent years, caught between his parents, Nathan Leafcastle had also found it hard to deal with—one side his mother, the other his deceased father.
"Go get ready!" Liliana Davis patted his shoulder, "The cemetery is quite far, we should head out early."
The three of them prepared briefly and then drove out of the neighborhood. Nathan Leafcastle stopped by a florist to buy some flowers, returning shortly with three bouquets in his arms.
Sally helped him arrange the flowers and curiously asked.
"Why buy so many?"
