Kate Palmer chuckled, "Vera, you won't ask our CEO for a high asking price, will you?"
Everyone joined in the laughter.
They were husband and wife, after all, and any child born to them would be Ashton's heir. Even though Ashton was a joint-stock company, the Cooper family still controlled the majority stake. So, whether the money was paid to Vera Wave or remained on the company's books, it made little real difference.
Everyone was smart and clearly understood the significant attention that Vera Wave would bring to Ashton if she became the company's spokesperson.
After the laughter subsided, the Director of the Finance Department was the first to express his opinion.
"I agree with Director Kate. Miss Wave's image aligns well with our company's spirit."
"I agree, too," chimed in the Director of the Marketing Department.
Afterwards, the others also voiced their agreement with the proposal.
