Fifteen paused his humming and looked at the little one in his arms. The little one pouted and started crying again.
"Keep going, keep going!" Phoebe urged immediately.
Lucas Walker and Ivana Bennett handed the baby to him. Although he was capable of changing diapers and feeding, truly taking care of a child was definitely not an easy task for a man.
At the sound of the little one's crying, his heart felt like it was melting with pain.
Fifteen hurriedly continued to sing and pat, and the little one quieted down once more.
And so, she walked in front, carrying the little one, while Phoebe followed behind, observing the baby's movements.
Only when the child quietly closed her big eyes again, with her small nostrils gently flaring as if she had fallen asleep, did Phoebe breathe a sigh of relief.
She waved to signal the doctor to leave, and Phoebe carefully picked a small cotton ball to wipe away the tears from the little one's eyes, speaking softly.
"Should we put her down?"
