Emily Collins smiled, "Alright, half each."
Amelia Clarke sat with the elderly lady for a while, noticing that she coughed from time to time.
Before leaving, she discreetly asked Lita Kingsley about it. Lita said it was due to frailty, and the medication prescribed by the doctor had already helped a lot.
Still uneasy, Amelia reminded Lita several times to take good care of her and to call her if anything happened.
Lita nodded in agreement and, seemingly unintentionally, glanced up at Owen Moreland.
Amelia, preoccupied with worrying about Emily Collins' health, didn't notice Lita's glance.
As they exited the hospital building, the sky outside was pitch-black and the streetlights dim.
"Owen, I'm really worried about Grandma's condition."
She had even coughed up blood before. At her age, such an incident was no small matter.
