Qin Yin gently laughed, not saying another word, simply closing her eyes slowly, while in her heart she whispered, just hoping there never comes a time we must part.
The next day, Nan Sichen and Qin Yin didn't go to work. They built two big snowmen in the yard, and they themselves became snowmen too.
The snow was icy cold, falling on their eyebrows and the corners of their eyes, yet they seemed unfazed by the cold. Qin Yin's laughter echoed throughout 'Eternal Chang'an.'
The servants were shoveling snow beside them. After the snowmen were built, Qin Yin put her scarf and hat on the snowmen, while Nan Sichen placed his scarf and hat on Qin Yin.
They laughed heartily together, standing in the snow.
Nan Sichen said, "I hope your laughter will always remain in 'Eternal Chang'an.'"
