Chapter 82 - Chapter 82: Utopian and the Justice Society

A few hours after Hawkman's call, the Hawk Cruiser, a vessel with aggressive, angular lines, settled silently in a deserted Tokyo park in the dead of night. Marcus, now in his Utopian suit, waited. The door opened with a hiss of compressed air, revealing the spacious interior and its unusual crew.

Hawkman stood at his full height, imposing with his folded metallic wings and mace resting on his shoulder. His gaze was direct, appraising. Beside him, Atom Smasher, towering over two meters tall, offered a shy nod. Further back, Cyclone floated a few centimeters off the ground, her feet wreathed in a swirl of air, and she gave him an enthusiastic little wave. Finally, there was Doctor Fate, motionless and silent, Nabu's golden helmet masking all expression, his mere presence inspiring a mix of respect and a certain wariness.

Hawkman, his voice carrying the natural authority of a leader: Utopian. Thank you for answering the call.

Utopian, boarding the craft: When the Justice Society calls, you listen. It's an honor.

The ship lifted off silently, leaving the lights of Tokyo for the stars. The atmosphere on board was a mix of professional tension and curiosity.

Cyclone, floating closer with an aerial grace: So, is it true you took on an entire army in Bialya? That's so cool!

Atom Smasher, scratching the back of his neck: Yeah, we saw the satellite footage. Impressive.

Utopian, modestly: I had good reasons to be angry. And Compound V did the rest.

Hawkman, cutting the familiarity short: Let's focus. The situation in Kahndaq is volatile. An individual named Teth-Adam has been freed. He possesses powers comparable to Shazam's. We need to contain him before he causes a catastrophe or falls into the wrong hands.

Utopian: Contain? Not neutralize?

Hawkman: Our mission is to protect global stability. If he can be reasoned with, we will reason with him. If not, we will do what is necessary.

It was then that Doctor Fate, who had remained silent, slowly turned his head toward Utopian. His voice resonated, coming from elsewhere.

Doctor Fate: The fate of this mission is tied to your own, son of two worlds. Your strength is not merely physical. It lies in your choice. You chose to be a protector, not a conqueror. This choice will be tested.

His words hung in the cabin, adding a prophetic dimension to their quest.

Utopian: I don't intend to change my choice.

Hawkman: Good. Then here's the plan...

As the ship raced towards the desert of Kahndaq, Utopian looked at his new companions. A reborn warrior, a gentle giant, a young mistress of the winds, and a sorcerer haunted by a god. It was a team very different from the League, rougher, more mystical.

But feeling the determination emanating from them, he knew he was in the right place. A new adventure was beginning, with new allies, and the stakes had never felt more personal. The Champion of Kahndaq was about to meet the Hero of Bialya, and the clash promised to be titanic.
