"It seems I've transmigrated."
A young man named Reisou muttered to himself, reluctantly accepting the reality of his situation.
He still couldn't understand how he had ended up there. Just moments ago, Reisou had returned home after a long, exhausting day at work and gone straight to sleep.
But instead of waking up in his bed, he found himself lying on the ground, alone behind a large gymnasium, dressed in a Japanese high school uniform. Seconds later, a brief headache struck, flooding his mind with a torrent of unfamiliar memories.
It took him a few minutes to organize his new memories to grasp his situation as well as the nature of this unknown place.
The world he found himself in was very dangerous, constantly threatened by the appearance of Gates.
Those Gates were interdimensional rifts that linked the planet to different worlds, each teeming with dangerous, bloodthirsty monsters.
If a Gate was not cleared in time, the monsters would break free and plunge everything into chaos.
Sixty years ago, when the Gates first appeared, the world was thrown into turmoil and countless lives were lost.
The military struggled to protect the people, as their conventional weapons proved useless against the otherworldly monsters.
Fortunately for humanity, a miracle happened. All over the world, people suddenly began awakening powers that allowed them to stand against the monsters.
In just a few years of fighting the Gates, those with powers became an essential force in rebuilding society, solidifying their place as Hunters.
As the new era arose, private organizations also appeared worldwide, seeking to recruit Hunters to strengthen their influence.
These organizations, armed with wealth and connections, quickly recruited ambitious Hunters, gaining significant power in society and sometimes holding more authority than the government itself.
The Guilds became so influential that a country's standing was no longer judged solely by its economy or technology.
Nations with strong Hunters in their Guilds gained major influence, making them a key factor in global power.
Although the global situation seemed quite concerning, Reisou didn't panic. After all, he was in Japan, a country home to some of the strongest Guilds in the world, rivaling powerful nations like the United States, China, England, Russia, Germany, and Korea.
Compared to weaker nations struggling with the Gates, Japan was relatively peaceful, with monsters rarely causing trouble in the country.
Even so, Reisou could not feel completely at ease. In this world, just like in his past life, he was still a poor orphan who had spent many years in an orphanage.
Though he awakened his potential as a Hunter at fourteen, his lack of talent shattered his expectations.
Despite two years of hard training, his progress was minimal, and his abilities were only sufficient to fight low-tier monsters.
Reisou was well aware of this, and it left him pondering what to do, until a blue floating screen suddenly appeared before his eyes, accompanied by a soft ding and a strange robotic voice.
[Ding!]
[Congratulations, host! The Omniversal Evolution System is now activated and ready to make your new life more enjoyable]
[All useful commands and necessary information will be transferred to your mind]
Before Reisou could react, his mind was flooded with information on how to use the system, along with details about its functions.
The process lasted only three seconds, and soon after, he was able to think clearly again.
"Yes! A system! Of course I, as a transmigrator, would receive one," Reisou said, grinning with excitement.
He quickly checked his status through a mental command, which made it incredibly convenient and spared him from being called schizophrenic.
'Status.'

Upon seeing the unimpressive numbers, lack of skills, and basic talents, Reisou let out a small sigh, feeling a brief wave of disappointment. But, the feeling didn't last long.
With the system's help, he was certain that with enough dedication and effort, he could grow far faster than through conventional methods.
From his status panel, the "Intruder" title was the only thing that truly caught his attention.
He tried to check its description, however the system informed him that it couldn't be displayed due to its low level.
For now, Reisou chose to set it aside and focus on other matters.
In addition to his status, he had an Inventory that could hold up to twenty items, with the potential for expansion, and a Quest menu that offered random missions whenever he entered a Gate.
Sometimes, the system would issue quests outside the Gates, but only on specific occasions.
*Din-Din-Dong!
Suddenly, the academy bell rang, interrupting Reisou thoughts and reminding him that he was now a high school student again.
Though attending classes was boring, Reisou did not mind, because the academy he was enrolled in was far from ordinary.
He was a student at the prestigious Sozukusen Hunter Academy, renowned for shaping some of Japan's most powerful Hunters and influential figures.
Only the most capable individuals were able to enroll, and under normal circumstances, it would have been impossible for him to be in such a place.
But, despite lacking outstanding talents and being a poor orphan, Sozukusen did accept a few hardworking teenage Hunters from orphanages, and fortunately, he was one of them.
Based on his new memories, he understood how tough it was to compete against thousands of students just for a single spot.
As Reisou made his way to his class in the second-year building, he couldn't help but be impressed by the size of the academy. It was massive and breathtakingly beautiful.
Sozukusen was equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that would amaze anyone who visited.
The campus was so vast and well-equipped that it could easily be mistaken for a small city.
The academy boasted various private apartments and public dormitories, providing housing for nearly two thousand students. Additionally, there was a bustling commercial street filled with stores and a large mall.
Apart from the high school, Sozukusen also had a university campus, where students could continue their education and further refine their skills.
This towering academy, located in a prime area of Kyoto, is a dream for anyone aiming to become a professional Hunter or pursue a highly profitable career.
Naturally, Reisou planned to take full advantage of it, using every opportunity to grow stronger and build a good life in this place.
While daydreaming, Reisou accidentally arrived at his classroom.
He hesitated briefly before entering, and once inside the classroom, he spotted some students chatting, while others were on their smartphones, reading a book, or sitting in silence.
His eyes immediately went wide as he realized that most of these students looked very familiar.
'I forgot about that. This world seems to have characters from different anime worlds,' he thought, glancing around.
As an otaku who spent his free weekends watching anime and reading novels, especially slice-of-life, Reisou found it rather amusing that his classmates included Horikita Suzune, Nakano Nino, Nakano Miku, Miura Yumiko, and Yuigahama Yui.
Even some protagonists, like Ayanokōji Kiyotaka and Hikigaya Hachiman, were there too.
After receiving a few glares for standing in the doorway for a full minute, Reisou quickly made his way to his seat.
To his surprise, he found himself sitting next to Nakano Nino, a cute yet cold-looking girl with long, straight pearl-pink hair adorned with twin butterfly-shaped ribbons.
Her piercing blue eyes shone brightly like the sky, capturing his attention for a moment. True to her portrayal in the anime, the girl was stunningly beautiful even in person.
She was talking with her sister Miku, who looked identical to her but wore an emotionless expression. Miku had medium-length hair and was wearing a blue wireless headphone.
Reisou didn't linger on his gaze for long, fearing being called a pervert.
*Din-Don-Dong!
Once again, the school bell rang, signaling the start of classes and prompting all the standing students to return to their seats.
Moments later, the classroom door swung open, and a stunning, mature woman with long brown hair tied in a ponytail walked in.
She wore a black blazer, a short black skirt, and black heels, her serious expression immediately commanding the room's attention.
"Let's start the class," she said in a firm voice before using a tablet to display its content on the digital blackboard behind her.
The students fell silent, focused, while Reisou, having already recognized her as Chabashira Sae, his history teacher, decided to pay close attention as well.
However, his mind wandered as he tried to think of a way to enter a Gate and evolve his status.
According to the information he had received earlier, along with the system instructions, the only way to level up was by killing monsters.
Unfortunately, entering a Gate required a professional Hunter license issued by the government. While the academy did organize expeditions for students, those wouldn't begin for another two months, and Reisou wasn't willing to wait that long.
Just as he was losing hope, a system notification appeared.
[Ding!]
[Your starter kit has been finally generated. As a compensation for the inconvenience, the system will provide a bonus]

[Congratulations! You have received the skills: Intimidation (1⋆) and Fury (1⋆).]
[Congratulations! You have received the talent Public Speaking (Beginner) - Bonus.]
Reisou was momentarily surprised and glanced around before checking his rewards, but due to his low level, he couldn't view their descriptions. Only the GK Card description was visible, and it made a grin appear on his lips.
[GK Card (E-Grade) x1: A card that allows the holder to randomly enter an active E-rank Gate. After killing the boss or sustaining certain damage, the user will be sent back to the last point where the card was used. Remember to tear the card to activate.]
He couldn't believe how convenient this item was and quietly thanked the system for providing it.
"Student Aragaki, are you finding my class funny?" A cold voice echoed, snapping Reisou's attention away from the system screen.
This caused the other students to shift their gazes toward him, making the boy feel a bit embarrassed, but he maintained his composure, replying, "Sorry, sensei, I got distracted. It won't happen again."
Sae didn't respond. Instead, she resumed the class as usual, prompting everyone to refocus.
Reisou decided to go along with it to avoid creating any more embarrassing situations for himself.
