Chapter 32 - Rows of happiness

The warrior Sula saw a palace suspended in the air and was captivated by it.

Sula: "Capelli, let's fly to it."

Capelli: "But… how do we fly?"

At that moment, the flying horses departed with the frog, leaving them behind.

Sula smiled and said:

> "Don't forget, we are in the virtuous city. We are like its people—if we wish to fly, we will fly. Come, jump with me, and we'll reach the palace."

They leapt together and soon arrived. Capelli entered the palace, holding Sula's hand. It was vast—so vast its end could not be seen.

Inside, rows of keys stood upright, as if greeting the visitors.

Sula called out:

> "Is there anyone here?"

The keys chirped like birds, replying:

> "Welcome to the palace without lost keys."

Capelli: "Did it lose its keys?"

The Key: "Here, the keys are never lost. But there, in your world, they are."

Capelli: "You mean… our world."

Sula: "Who are you?"

The Key:

> "We are the fighters who defended our lives, our wealth, and our land.

We fought fierce battles against the monsters.

Our keys remained in our hands, and now they hang proudly in this palace.

We live in the world of happiness."

Sula: "Why wasn't I with you?"

The Key: "Ask yourself—do you have your key with you? Did you fight bravely in the battle? Was your key lost?"

Sula:

> "I missed the warrior—Capelli's father—in the battle.

Perhaps I lost my key, but I fought with all my strength.

I still hold my keys. The monsters did not catch me, nor did they take my wealth."

The Key: "Then there is a key that will stay with you."

Sula: "Where is it?"

The Key: "It stands before you."

Sula turned to Capelli, her eyes softening. She embraced him, then the keys of the palace showered them with gifts and placed crowns upon their heads. The keys chirped joyfully:

> "Enjoy your union in the year of your honeymoon,

O heroes of your world.

Never throw away your keys.

Resist the treachery of monsters—

monsters have no covenant.

> Girl, guard your key well.

Boy, hold your key tightly.

We will meet again.

> If your keys are lost there,

and you fight the monsters,

your key will remain here,

hanging among us.

> In this palace, we shall meet.

Leave your key with us,

and enjoy the key to happiness."
