Raven idly raised a bet against another person for a bound man in cuffs in the middle of the auctioning floor.
"10,000 adult human souls!" His betting rival yelled out and Raven grinned before he conceded the betting as the man paled in realization.
"Don't play with the big boys~" Raven chuckled as he watched the man slump down at the realization he's probably broke now.
Raven wouldn't actually buy any of the people offered on the auction unless they greatly intrigued him. The idea of literally owning someone didn't have much appeal to him, he'd do it if needed, or for a very cruel joke.
"Winner! Lord Olivan!"
Raven hummed in interest as the announcer paused, a communication circle forming beside their ear.
"Oh boy." Raven heard the announcer mutter after the circle broke apart before he raised his hand, three large magic circles formed in the air.
"Get ready folks, I hope you still have some valuable items to bid with because Lady Mab herself has decided to end the auction here with a final big piece!" The announcer, Mevlen, Raven reminded himself, yelled out.
Raven leaned forward as he took note of his current souls and hummed, he shoukd hopefully be good. If not, well he's got his trump cards.
"Ripped by Lady Mab herself, a SHARD OF EXISTENCE ITSELF! A JAR OF COMPRESSED SPACE DUST! FINALLY A JAR OF COMPRESSED SANDS OF TIME!" Raven sucked in a deep breath of air as he glanced up at the host of the auction and she was looking down at him with a smirk. He felt his own form back. He tried to ignore how similar they looked.
"We will be starting the bid at 5,000 adult human souls." Mevlen said with a wild grin as the items in question floated down from the giant magic circles. The three slowly orbiting each other like planets around a sun.
Raven was keeping up with the bets, and after an hour of ruthless competition, only three remained. Himself, Silvano and Bravina. Raven had zero idea who these people were, they weren't famous mentions in any books on fae, which is interesting with how much their betting.
"It looks like we're down to three big ballers folks! Since this is the final auction, we will be having our final three competitors come on down and go head to head!" Mevlen said after another communication circle formed beside his ear.
"500,000 adult human souls, 10 dead apostle ancestor souls and five human hero souls!" Silvano started off strong.
"510,000 adult human souls, 10 dead apostle ancestor souls and six human hero souls!" Bravina wasn't quite ready to give up either, and as he looked at them, he saw a similarity in their physical features, perhaps siblings or very close relation.
"1,000,000 adult human souls, 20 dead apostle ancestor souls and 10 human hero souls." Raven smiled cheerfully at the two as they clenched their fist hard and whispered to each other.
"Lord Mevlen, we have chosen to work together." They stated and the announcer nodded.
"1,500,000 adult human souls, 25 dead apostle ancestor souls and 30 human hero souls. We will also throw in a dimension core." Raven flinched slightly as they offered up a dimension core.
Dimension cores are such as their name implies, cores capable of forming a beings own dimension. Yahweh's Heaven. Chaos' underworld. Lucifer's Hell.
However that didn't mean he couldn't beat the bet.
"The soul of Asclepius, Greek god of Healing. 5,000,000 adult human souls, 50 dead apostle ancestor souls, 100 human hero souls, a shard of Crimson Brunestud themself and a feather of Archangel Gabriel herself!" Raven stared at the two fae who could only stare in disbelief.
Raven was very thankful to Zelretch for the shard of Crimson Brunestud, why the essentric vampire had such a thing on his person he didn't want to know, but the man had willingly handed it over casually. It really reminded him why the old bloodsucker was considered in the list of top ten beings.
Raven also considered it a blessing how Hades had willingly given over the soul of the Greek god of healing who had threatened to break the balance with how he revived the dead.
Raven honestly considered the feather of Gabriel the greatest item here, combined with his crown it enabled him to travel between dimensions uninhibited. So that's why he drained all energy of the feather into himself, so it was basically just a normal feather at this point.
"Well then, it seems we have a winner! Lord Raven Inanis! Thank you everyone who came to today auction, feel free to enjoy the rest of your amenities and leave at your discretion. Lord Raven if you would follow me, we will have your items appraised for the trade." Mevlen said as the three items disappeared back into the magic circles.
Raven nodded his head as he followed Mevlen through a door. They walked in silence for five minutes before reaching a point.
"Through this door will be Lady Mab, she will verify your items. A word of advice, prepare yourself mentally, those who first meet Lady Mab in person are overwhelmed by a random single emotion." Mevlen warned before he walked off.
Raven mentally prepared himself and knocked on the door, a soft voice told him to enter. So he pushed open the door and walked in, closing it behind him as he stared at the room.
Calling it a room though wasn't quite correct, it seemed to be more a pocket dimension connected to the door.
The dimension itself seemed to be a small forest surrounding a large pond. A small flattened area laid next to a dock connecting to the pond, a small fire pit was set on the ground, a solid wooden bench sat a bit away.

Standing at the edge of the dock was Mab herself just staring out, and then she slowly turned toward him, and as he stared at her all he could feel was sheer happiness, from himself and her.
The next moment it vanished and he couldn't feel her emotions again, at best he could feel a muted feeling.
"Welcome to my little realm Raven Inanis, Magician of The First." Mab said with a pleased tone.
"Hi." Raven greeted in return and she laughed before she sat down at the edge of the dock and tapped beside her.
"Join me, let us talk." She said as she handed over a gem containing the three items, and he himself handed over a gem with his own items. He would admit it hurt to lose such an amount of things, especially the shard of Brunestud and the soul of a god.
"Tell me, how do you find the fae realm?" She asked softly and Raven hummed softly as he pondered how to answer that.
"The realm is interesting. The unique environments one finds throughout the realm. The ocean that is upside down and space locked. The endless forest. The creatures. It's all amazing." Raven admitted as Mab laughed.
"Father would definitely appreciate those words." She said and Raven blinked at her as she froze for a moment.
"Father?" He asked and she sighed as she rubbed her head in self annoyance.
"Please don't repeat this, but yes, Father. Myself, the eldest, Oberon the middle child and Titania the youngest. He was much like yourself. He used Dawn Energy, its name instinctively known to all users, was a magician much like yourself, except he was capable of mimicking the powers of the other true magics. He was there before Yahweh created the angels, the two were bestfriends. However fathers body wasn't quite as stable as he would wish, so on his death bed he went to see his bestfriend one final time, together they sealed away the beast of apocalypse, Trihexa. His existence was that of a paradox, he exist, however he doesn't exist in the annals of history, he only exist in the moment." Man explained and Raven hummed softly in thought.
"How interesting, yes how very interesting!" Raven cackled and Mab narrowed her eyes, an unknown emotion in them.
"Paradoxically existing, such a unique existence that must be, to be unaffected by time shenanigans." Raven mused as Mab suddenly chuckled.
"Oh you'd be surprised. Father once had a group of Yahweh's enemies seek to remove him from the playing field by removing him from existence by snuffing out his life. However as a paradox he continued to exist, unfortunately due to the depression he was in, he almost faded from existence willingly, however he broke free of it and fixed the issue, managing to traverse through time and stop them from removing him from the timeline." Mab explained and Raven frowned.
"That doesn't make any sense though. As a paradoxical existence, he wouldn't be there when they went back in time." Raven said and she shook her head.
"Father explained it like this, a being who is paradoxical will exist only in the past, never in the future. However those who glimpse the past and future will never see them, only glancing in the present can they be found." Mab explained and Raven nodded his head, because that did make a degree of sense.
He'd go visit Aoko for lessons on Time later.
"I see, if I didn't know any better I'd say I was your father." Raven chuckled as Mab laughed.
"It would be an amusing tale, Father." She giggled at her own joke before they both laughed again.
"Hmm, this is annoying." Mab frowned as she turned her head to stare at something, and Raven knew she was glancing at a certain spot in the feywilds. "We'll have to cut this short, some morons are causing chaos. Let us talk again Raven Inanis." Mab said as she held out a hand and Raven shook it, a small magic circle forming over both their hands adding their commutation circle codes to each other.
The next moment both were in the auction house again, Mab took a step away before pausing and then turning around placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.
"For reminding me of my father and good times." She said before waving and vanishing. Raven hummed before he himself vanished with a single flap of his wings, he was back on the grind to find a city, because he forgot to ask for directions.

"For the eldest one always scolding us, you are terrible about keeping secrets." A man's voice spoke, it was in fact Onyx, or rather the person he changed to be.
"Oh hush Oberon, you're just jealous I got to actually speak with him before you." Mab said with a wild and somewhat familiar grin.
"Don't act so smug Mab, you almost revealed too much." Another voice revealed, this was Titania.
"Excuse you!?" Mab demanded as she butted heads with Titania.
"Now calm down you two." Oberon tried to defuse the situation knowing what was to come.
"Butt out of it!" The two girls yelled as they swung their fist slamming into Oberon who was flung away.
The three siblings would then start a week long fight.

[Oberon]
[Mab]
[Titania]
Hi everyone! This chapter is a bit shorter then usual, but that's because I plan for chapter [100] to be extra long and special, a lot of content gonna be involved in that chapter as the final one for this part. Also totally not because I spent forever rewriting the conversation with Mab trying not to spoil a couple future arcs, because I'm sure many of you have put together quite a few things.
Anyways!
Some things to note.
Nothing!
Hope you enjoyed!
Bye~
