[3rd POV]
Hayley felt a little disappointed knowing that she was not going to win the bet she made with Lucifer, but she was also happy to see her daughter so excited to be with someone besides a member of their family. And in this case, it was in a romantic sense.
The two were mates, and the way they reacted around one another was by far the most adorable thing she had ever seen in her entire life. And if the expression on Alice's face was any indicator, it would seem she thought the same.
While Lucifer was just watching them talk with an amused expression on her face. The two were basically just rambling about one another at this point, and the way they both beamed as they talked about each other was cute.
The rest of the Mikaelsons thought the same. With Rebekah struggling not to say anything about the way they were talking to one another, and Kol was just grinning in amusement.
They could all see the growing love that the two held for one another, and they all agreed it was adorable.
"Oh, Rose also made a friend in Josie too!" Hope added, seemingly remembering that the two had become pretty close. But Hope was barely hiding the shimmering jealousy as she remembered the two and their constant conversations with one another.
They were becoming close friends, and Hope wasn't sure if she was happy with that.
"Yeah, she's pretty great. Her ability to absorb magic from other people is super interesting, being a siphoner and all" Rose said with a nod, biting into her food as she continued after swallowing the tasty burger she had gotten.
"Lizzie is...not the funnest person to be around though" Rose added after finishing her food. With Hope nodding in agreement, she also didn't have the best relationship with the blonde bully.
She had a much better relationship with Josie, even though that had become a bit strained as of recent due to her growing closeness to Rose that she wasn't exactly the biggest fan of. Lizzie and her had always been at...odds with one another.
Enough that she tended to avoid the blonde whenever she possibly could, not wanting a single thing to do with her. But that didn't really work every time, as the blonde tended to come across her often, and loved to make little comments towards her.
Most of which were rude, and sometimes borderline cruel and just plain mean.
"Why is she not fun to be around? I thought Alaric's kids were both nice enough when I saw them last" Hayley asked with a raised eyebrow, having not heard about Lizzie being a problem before this.
"Ah well..." Rose trailed off, glancing at Hope for help with this one.
"She's a bit of a bitch, like, a huge bitch" Hope said bluntly, Rose nodding in agreement.
"I wasn't there, but I'm assuming she just put up a front when you saw her last. Because at school she's pretty much the mean girl of the school. Thinking she's better than everyone else, making fun of those that she doesn't like. And she likes to treat her sister like she's her maid or something. Not really someone we liked to be involved with" Rose added, with Hope once again agreeing with her.
Lizzie had seemingly gotten pretty dang good at hiding her true personality from the people that visit the school. Especially when the Mikaelsons or anyone related to them were there, or anyone who was friends with her mom, Caroline.
Caroline wasn't her actual mom, at least, not her bio mom. She was just the woman that gave birth to her, it was a...confusing little mess born of various forms of magic and other shit that added up to make a really strange situation involving their birth and how it even worked.
It confused pretty much everyone who was involved with it in the first place. So that kinda said everything about it.
"...I didn't realize that she was that much of a problem. Should I talk with Caroline about disciplining her?" Hayley asked, wondering how she could not have noticed Lizzie's personality. She was usually a good judge of character. But it would seem she missed it this time.
"No, it's not like she could do anything about it anyways. If she would even do anything about it in the first place. Lizzie is very good at hiding it, and while her dad knows she can be a bit of a bitch at times, he has no idea how much of a bully she actually tends to be" Hope responded with a shake of her head.
It'd be a waste of time, and would just stir up drama.
Instead, she and Rose would just have to find their own method to take care of their blonde bitch problem. They had a few ideas that they had talked about. Like pranking her every single day until she started to learn how to control herself, or maybe just do it back.
Or maybe get a recording of everything she says that is bullying and then leak it all to her father or mother.
Either way, they'll find their own way of taking care of the problem. They were smart enough to do at least that much.
"Still feels like we should at least do something to help deal with that problem" Kol said, also not very pleased with the information that his niece was basically being bullied by Lizzie.
"It'll work itself out soon enough, these two are smart enough to take care of a problem like an annoying girl bullying them" Lucifer said with a smile, confident that her daughter and her daughter's mate could take care of the problem with Lizzie.
It wouldn't be particularly difficult for them, at least, it shouldn't be.
"So...what else has happened besides a blonde bitch being a nuisance?" Rebekah asked, deciding to move on from the conversation about Lizzie.
"Not a lot really" Hope responded with a shrug, not finding anything else to talk about.
With the response, the dinner continued on as they began to talk about all sorts of other things. Lucifer in particular had talked quite a bit as she got all sorts of questions from Hope and her family.
Like about her history as the various historical figures.
The ones that she was particularly interested in was her life as Alexander the Great, and Gilgamesh. Each of them had taken a bit to explain, but the group had all listened closely as she explained her conquests and battles, as well as her love with those iterations of Alice while she was doing this all.
It had been fun to explain, and the amount of questions she had been on the receiving end was amusing.
But finally, after three hours of a long dinner and a tasty desert, the group had parted ways. With Hope and Rose being dropped back off at the school, while the Mikaelsons and Morningstars decided to join up and returned back to New Orleans on a large and fancy bus that Lucifer had summoned.
Like one big family. With Powder and Beatrix hanging out with Freya. Vi with Klaus, learning about his past battles. And Bloom had sat with Elijah hearing about his past as a very famous writer who had written quite a few classics.
But after hours of driving on an enjoyable road trip with the family, they had passed into New Orleans, returning home after a couple of days away from home. And as they returned home, Lucifer had only one thought on her mind.
'...That was fun!'
