[3rd POV]
"What could you possibly know about me? We have never met before" Daenerys asked with narrowed eyes. Even as a child, she understood the world a decent bit, and in this case, she knew that these two shouldn't know anything about her.
They've never met before.
"Child, I healed you just from touching your head. Do you truly believe that I do not know who you are, and that I cannot find out who you are if I had not already known? I know that you are Daenerys Targaryen, the daughter of Queen Rhaella Targaryen" Lucifer said, as she stared into the eyes of Daenerys who looked up at her fearfully.
To hear someone knew who she was, was incredibly alarming. As usually the second someone found out about her, they'd try to kill her, or worse. Because she was not only worth a lot to someone like Robert Baratheon, but she would be worth even more should she be sold as a slave.
Especially a sex slave.
Seeing the way Daenerys was glancing around for a way out of this, Alice's eyes softened, while Lucifer sighed.
"I'm not going to hurt you, Daenerys. I do not harm children, especially not one as young as you. I have children of my own, and I'd hate to ever harm another" Lucifer said, trying to calm the terrified child. She didn't want her to freak out and make a breath for it.
"Y-You're lying" Daenerys said, fear filling her heart as she continued to try and find a way to flee, but found that there was no way she was getting out of this. The two women were standing too close, and they'd just grab her the second that she tries.
Seeing the looks, the two glanced at one another before stepping back.
"If you want to run, you can run honey. We aren't here to keep you captive or to hurt you. We just want to help you, that's all" Alice said softly, her heart breaking as she gazed at the little one that was healed from her injuries, but still rather malnourished even after the healing that Lucifer had given her.
She really hoped the child wouldn't run, so that they can help her in the way she needs.
"What do you want from me? Nobody helps anybody here for no reason. They always want something in return, even my brother" Daenerys said with narrowed eyes, causing the two to look at her in sadness.
A little girl being this intelligent and well spoken would normally be a good thing, but in this case, it just showed how hard she has had it over the past five years. She has been miserable, and desperately needs parental love. They just hoped that she would let them give it to her.
"We don't want anything from you, Daenerys. We want to help you, as I've said before. What we truly want, is to take you from this horrid little place and give you something that you have been severely lacking" Lucifer said, as Daenerys gazed into her eyes.
"And what is that?"
"A home" Lucifer softly said, Daenerys's eyes widening at the words. She had never known a true home, having been on the run her entire life, being forced to grow when she should be able to enjoy her life. And even now, she was inwardly terrified, acting strong but she was struggling not to shake in fear.
"Wh-what?"
"We want to take you with us, honey. Away from Pentos, away from Essos, and away from any of the threats that might come for you. Like that ghastly little man Robert" Alice said softly, noticing the way the fear in Daenerys's eyes was dashed as it was replaced by something even more heartbreaking.
Hope.
"Y-You're lying to me" Daenerys said as she tried not to get her hopes up that these people might truly be there to help her. To free her of this horrible place and to give her something she wants so very badly. Love.
In response Lucifer softly smiled, and stretched out her hand, a glow echoing from it as Daenerys let out a gasp, seeing an image form. A large home, with a field laying behind it. The image changed to the inside of the place, a family laughing, an image of Lucifer and her family. Her children.
And her.
"That is what we want to give you, Daenerys. You won't just have us, but sisters. Five older sisters who will love and adore you, just as we will. You'll have a family that will protect you, love you, and show you things that you cannot even begin to comprehend" Lucifer said softly, as Daenerys watched with wide eyes, not expecting this.
To hear that she would have all of this...was unbelievable.
"And you don't have to answer now, we don't expect you to. But...do you want to at least come with us for the rest of the night? We could use a guide to the nearest inn, and I don't think you should sleep out here tonight. So we can get you a room too" Alice offered, as the girl stared into her eyes silently, before nodding slowly.
"O-Okay" Daenerys whispered, a little shyly as the two of them smiled happily at her. Lifting the girl, Daenerys let out a surprised sound as Lucifer picked her up and held her in her arms. The warmth that traveled through her was unlike anything she had ever felt before.
"Well? Direct us, hon" Lucifer said with a smile on her face, as she gazed into the eyes of the embarrassed little girl, who had begun to direct them to the nearest inn that they had chosen to sleep in for the night.
The inn itself was pretty nice all things considered, and they had gotten a large bedroom for themselves.
Well, that was until they found out that there was only one room remaining. So it had turned from a room for the two of them, to a room for all three of them. The little girl now in the bedroom, wondering if she should leave.
"Well, guess I'll have to sleep on the floor for the night" Lucifer said with a calm smile, not minding. She quite literally could not feel discomfort, so sleeping on the ground didn't really affect her at all.
Hearing her words, Daenerys looked at her in surprise. She saw no point in her laying on the ground, and if anyone should lay on the ground, it was her. So why was Lucifer offering to sleep on the ground?
"Y-You don't have to do that" Daenerys said, as Lucifer shook her head.
"If you aren't comfortable, then I won't be. So, I'll let you sleep in the bed with Alice, and I'll sleep on the floor" Lucifer responded, preparing her bed, only to stop when she felt Daenerys softly grab the back of her shirt. Turning to her, Lucifer raised an eyebrow at the little girl.
"U-Um...can we all sleep in the bed?" Daenerys asked, a little shy as the two looked at her with soft gazes.
"Only if you want" Lucifer replied, as the child nodded shyly, causing the two of them to smile at her warmly.
And that led to the current situation, Lucifer and Alice laying on the bed, Daenerys in between the two, bathed in the warmth of the two women at her sides. She couldn't help but enjoy it, the comfort of their warmth as they slept next to her.
She wondered absentmindedly if this was what it was like to have a parent. And as she began to fall asleep in between them, she could only have one hope.
That they truly wanted her to be their daughter.
