[3rd POV]
Daenerys slept soundly throughout the night. The warmth of the two kind women lulled her to sleep, as she began to slowly move closer to the two, cuddling up against the women. Mostly Lucifer, her taller form being easier to get comfortable leaning against.
Lucifer and Alice had woken up the next morning to find the little girl snoring softly, face buried against Lucifer's arm as she slept. The two could only smile warmly at the little girl, as Lucifer moved to replace her hand with a teddy bear she conjured up, allowing the girl to sleep as she moved to begin cooking breakfast.
While cooking, the two quietly conversed with one another, whispering back and forth.
"Where should we go today?" Lucifer asked softly to her wife, who was helping cut some vegetables on the kitchen counter that she had conjured with ease. She was thinking of leaving Pentos, because quite frankly, she didn't like this place.
And she didn't want Viserys to come back and try to steal his sister back. And she wasn't sure how the magisters were going to react once they found out she was here. Sure, she could atomize them all with a thought, but she didn't want to get pushed into that situation in the first place.
She wanted to make Daenerys comfortable around her, and she was pretty certain that atomizing someone was going to do the opposite of that. Well, most likely at least.
"I was thinking we could just go down to Westeros? Because honestly, Essos is...not nearly as nice as I was thinking, and I don't think I can stomach a place like Lys or Volantis. With the amount of slaves that they use in both of those places" Alice asked, not really liking the idea of going there, especially if they were going to bring Daenerys along with them.
It'd be a huge risk for her, and she'd likely not want to go anywhere near those places. As any person that lives in Essos knows about how bad the slavery is there, and the fact that you'd die instantly if you offended the wrong group of people.
And that group of people tended to be very...hard to work with, arrogant, ignorant, and unnecessarily cruel in like 90% of the cases. Some of them got off on torturing and harming others, and neither of them wanted Daenerys anywhere near...that.
"That...is probably for the best. As much as I am interested in exploring more of Essos, I do not think this place is safe for her. It'd be better to tour around Westeros and use a bit of my power to cover up her appearance, so that we can still move around safely, and explore a bit" Lucifer responded, agreeing with her wife's suggestion.
It was probably the best option for them. The safest for Daenerys, and the only way they'd enjoy the rest of this little vacation that they were on.
"But before we do that, I want to gather a few things for her" Lucifer said with a small smile on her face, as Alice looked at her with a knowing look on her face. She knew what Lucifer wanted to grab, and decided to let her, nodding in agreement with her words.
After a few more minutes of cooking the delicious breakfast, which was an omelette, Lucifer walked over to Daenerys and softly shook the little girl, who let out a low grumble in her sleep, turning away from her with a whine.
"Wake up honey, it's time to get up" Lucifer softly said as she shook the girl a little harder, as the girls eyes slowly crept open as she rubbed them with a low yawn.
"What?" Daenerys asked with a low voice, looking up at the smiling woman that stood in front of her.
"It's time to get up, Daenerys. We've got breakfast made and everything if you'd like some. We made a delicious dish called an "omelette" it's a breakfast dish with sausage, eggs, cheese, and vegetables. Would you like some?" Lucifer asked, as the girl began to fully wake up, especially once she noticed what she was cuddling.
It was a large black teddy bear with a bandana around its neck, the symbol of her family upon it, and two dragon horns curling out of it's as if it was a dragon-bear hybrid. It was pretty cute, and the girl looked at it in slight awe, and moved it closer to her chest.
"...Okay" Daenerys responded, having not properly eaten in quite some time. And the scent of the breakfast that they had cooked entered her nose, and it smelt...divine. Walking over to the table, she looked down at the plate with the meal on top, and had to stop herself from drooling at the delicious aroma and the large amount of food sitting there.
"You can eat as much as you want, honey" Alice said with a warm smile, as the girl kept her new friend on her lap, as she climbed onto the chair and took her first bite of the omelette. The two of them watched slightly alarmed as tears welled up in the girls eyes, before softening their expressions when she wiped them away and began to rapidly eat the food.
They weren't tears of sadness, but tears of happiness. She had never eaten something so good in her entire life, something so...filling. Something that made her cry as she devoured it, her teddy bear in her lap as she made sure it didn't fall while she devoured her meal.
"Don't eat too fast, otherwise you might choke" Alice said, as she moved and put a cup of juice onto the table, the girl looking at it before taking a sip of it. Her eyes widened at the taste of the orange juice, before gulping more of it down and moving back to eat.
The couple glanced at one another upon seeing the reaction she had to the food, and the way she was devouring it like it was going to run away from her or something. Both of them knew that this was worse than they had even thought, and she needed to eat more than just this.
It was evident now that she had been lacking in proper food for a lot longer than either of them had suspected, and had never eaten a truly good tasting meal. Most likely only ever eating trashy foods and stuff that was cheap enough for her to afford. That, or foods that she had stolen in order to eat something, even if it was something small.
Lucifer had silently boosted the food she was eating, and the drink. Making it so that it was more supernatural in nature. Making it so that it was actively healing her faster than normal, far faster. And it was boosting her potential, unlocking parts of her that had been sealed up until now. Like magic, and her connection to her Valyrian roots.
And it would unlock soon, likely by the next morning. It would be a great boon to her, one that she would not even understand for a while.
Lucifer could tell that her food was doing what it needed. Healing the little girl of the remaining parts that were ailing her. Now it was onto the mental aspect that Lucifer needed to help with, with the girls PTSD, depression, and her other issues stemming from her horrid older brother, and the others that have caused her pain in the past five years.
Staring at the little girl eat, Lucifer smiled softly, one thought on her mind.
'...Looks like we'll be going to Westeros sooner than I thought'
